This. Those years when they missed the playoffs...it just made springter that much longer. Playoff hockey takes the edge off the last remnants of the cold weather.

I can be super negative about the Pens but would we really be that afraid of a matchup with the Debbies? I don’t know man, if the pens make the playoffs, the way the stars are playing, they could do some damage

We just somehow need to luck out with something on the bottom two lines, which of course, has little to know chance of happening. Maybe Bonino comes back and tears it up, who knows

Facing a younger team would be better, within reason. Our vets know a lot of stuff about the playoffs that younger kids won't know...they can take enough advantage to make it happen for a game or two...and then if we can win on skill for two more games, you got four right there.

That Rangers team last year...not super well coached from a technical perspective, pretty young team...we dominated them. Historically dominant performance, in fact. That's no accident. The accident was having that garbage bag of deer antlers in net...
