Reminds me of Jagr's on-ice interview after the series win in Buffalo. Paraphrasing but something like "We won the Cup in my first year here, and I think we're gonna win it in my last year too."

Sullivan said the med staff did not clear Crosby for G6.
At what point does Rossi get his credentials revoked for obvious bullshit?

It's hard to argue that.

And I guess now they're going to have to sign letang considering they have no trade capital to get another D from somewhere so I stand corrected

Letang saying he'd allow the Pens to match is interesting. Have to assume he knows he's going to FA, which I'd go there no matter what.

Not even considering a hometown discount, then? Later dude.

Maybe Rossi should have stayed on the sidelines for the entire year.Sullivan said the med staff did not clear Crosby for G6.

He didn’t feel like they were getting outplayed while losing lead after lead in elimination games because they refused to change their style of play and step on the throat of their dying opponent?
It's hard to argue that.

There is no player of Letang's caliber who is going to be available in at least 2-3 years. And with no trade capital, it will be impossible for the Pens to acquire one that way. When you consider that Letang will be in decline by the end of the contract, also consider that the cap will be higher than it is now, too. Personally, Letang is the one guy I would offer insane money to.

What would you have done differently to step on their throat? I watched every single playoff game of the entire first round, we dominated the Rangers like no other team in the first round, except maybe Colorado over Nashville - but even that was buoyed by Nashville having two replacement level goalies...He didn’t feel like they were getting outplayed while losing lead after lead in elimination games because they refused to change their style of play and step on the throat of their dying opponent?

Give Letang 5 x 9 million if he demands it. The team will be bad anyway when Crosby retires so the last years does not matter.
I posted a list of the best D man on the Cup Winning teams during the 2000s and our last win is almost the only exception to that you need s true #1 D to win...
Edit: And I am still disappointed that we didn't claim Ghost and Nedeljkovic
