Annnnd Kypreos is doubling down on a Malkin trade. Says "he knows that internal discussion have taken place" - says Malkin won't be (isn't) happy playing 15 minutes a night - speculates on 'the 2nd fiddle' theory. To paraphrase...'it may not happen this week or 6 mos but IT WILL HAPPEN' (just like I was right about Patrick Sharp, says Kypper)
Says the contract model favored by the NHL doesn't allow for two contracts like Malkin and Sid's on the same team.
Then he goes on to suggest it could very well be Malkin to Chicago which of course flies in the face of the stuff he says above.

I missed this line the first time I read the post... what a ridiculous statement.

Kypreos saying a contract model 'isn't favored in this league' then in the next breath saying Malkin could very well end up in Chicago' (with McClean agreeing with him) was too juicy to pass on :D

Unless Chicago wants to send over Towes for Malkin, I don't see what's the point for either team.

No way the Blackhawks can have almost $30 million tied up in 3 players. That be crazy.
