If you remember from 2009, each year the HHOF periodically updates a journal that documents the Stanley Cup's travels during the summer.

Since the Pens will be partying with the Cup this year, I'll try to update this thread with pictures, tweets, videos, and stories of the Pens as they party with Lord Stanley.

My oldest got a Kessel jersey within three weeks of the trade and now wants Bonino and Hagelin jerseys to go with it.

This happened to me in a bar in NC the year the Canes won. An exec with the team had a beach house. They came in totally unannounced, and being NC, it didn't make much of an impact.

I saw it at All Star Weekend in Boston in 1996 (and the replica at the Hall of Fame).

Definitely want to see it again.

The Heinz History Center had an event the last time the Pens won the Cup where you could buy a ticket and get your picture with the Cup. If you bought a yearly membership, which I did since the cost wasn't that much of a difference, you could cut the line and get as many pictures as you wanted with the Cup.

I really hope they have an event like that again.

I'd LOVE to see the Cup and have my picture taken with it. I've never even seen it in person. Although, I'm afraid I'd try to hug it, grope it, looking for all the Pens' names, start crying, flee with it, and then get arrested.

I saw the Cup and all the other trophies at the all-star game in 2002. Goosebumps, finding the (then) two Pens teams, finding the typos, Basil Pocklington's x'd out name. It was awesome.

Favorite 'day-with-the-Cup' story still has to be Martin Brodeur. He would have a street hockey tournament for all the kids in his neighborhood, and the winning team got the Cup.

One of the very few times that I was starstruck while working in sports TV was when I got to meet Stanley in both 1999 and 2000. Just totally awestruck by getting to be around it. And it's always funny to watch the commercials they had during the playoffs of the Cup sitting in a room waiting for those military players or the juniors to come off the ice and their reactions to it.
