letang got that penalty for hitting too hard. if he just rubbed williams into the boards, there's no call.Letang would beg to differ with you with 2:30 left in Game 6 vs the Craps.you can tackle a guy along the boards after the puck is gone. It's never called anymore. So what's the difference between that and what dumo did besides his gps coordinates?

Pirates have several pitchers that would kill to have that kind of movement on their stuff. It's a pretty basic direct free kick into the upper 90.
DiCello has some great photos of the Burgh if you're not familiar with his work check out his site.

I certainly didn't catch that (and neither did Murray - heyooooo!). It makes me feel a little better about the goal, actually.

Question: Goal doesn't count, does it? I mean, that's technically a save. Thank goodness it wasn't the GWG!I certainly didn't catch that (and neither did Murray - heyooooo!). It makes me feel a little better about the goal, actually.
I'm seeing other vids that look like the goal beat Murray cleanly. Ah, who knows at this point?

Well, this is why I didn't catch it - the puck clearly went over Murray's glove: https://streamable.com/yg7u

It's still a goal. He didn't save it. If Shea Weber shot a puck that went through Dan Cloutier's heart and out his back and into the net, it still counts...

Every goal I've given up went through my glove.

I remember that now! I had forgotten all about that. It's still a goal. He didn't save it. If Shea Weber shot a puck that went through Dan Cloutier's heart and out his back and into the net, it still counts...

That's the "other vid" to which I was referring. Between that and Sid's bending goal, it's [insert "The Twilight Zone" theme here].Well, this is why I didn't catch it - the puck clearly went over Murray's glove: https://streamable.com/yg7u

I would also imagine if it really did go through Murray's glove, he'd have been checking it immediately, going to the bench to get it fixed, etc. He did none of that.

if this is correct, then Sid tied his worst playoff scoring drought (if he didn't score in OT yesterday, he would've went 9 straight games without a goal) and Malkin has already set a new personal long with 7 scoreless games in a rowCorrect, because Gaucho's reasoning is BS.Don't tell @MR25 thatNo excuse for Sid and Geno. Being a superstar is about consistency, not hot streaks.

are we not allowed to get mad at players for playing the worst, production-wise, in their careers?

This my first thought as well. He would have known that...I would also imagine if it really did go through Murray's glove, he'd have been checking it immediately, going to the bench to get it fixed, etc. He did none of that.

... or that that part of the glove is not actually netting, but a leather "strap" which something could obviously not pass through. This my first thought as well. He would have known that...I would also imagine if it really did go through Murray's glove, he'd have been checking it immediately, going to the bench to get it fixed, etc. He did none of that.
