I usually get home between 630-730 so I also applaud the 8 PM games.

I would prefer 7:30. It would allow me to watch pretty much the whole first period from work, drive home and catch the game from the middle of the second period on. 8 pm start means I miss half the first and nearly all of the second.

I'll be in Pittsburgh to go to the Bucs game Saturday night. Definitely walking across the street to McFadden's if the baseball game bores me. Locke (vomit) is starting, but the Reds are trotting out Mr. 16.40 ERA 3.00 WHIP Alfredo Simon. Hmm.

8pm wouldn't be so bad if it was 8pm. But 8pm is really 8:20, then they're pushing to get out of there by 11. (see Pens/Rags game 5)

My daughter is usually in bed around 7:30-7:45 now, so I am a huge fan of the 8 PM starts. Hard to be close to a TV during bath time and bed time.
