It's funny, I like old Cullen a lot more than I liked younger Cullen. I didn't really care much for the previous iterations of Cullen...this Cullen seems much more focused, task-oriented but still with the requisite skills to make things happen in a small spot.

Being an anonymous top-six forward was doing it for me...this third/fourth line center Cullen has been found money...

I hate the fact that it takes so long to go through the review, but last night was a prime example of why it's needed.

At the opposite end was Matt Cullen, the oldest player on the ice in Game 3. Cullen watched as droves of reporters surrounded Murray, who is as unflappable with cameras in his face as when pucks are flying at him.

“Look at him,” Cullen said, shaking his head. “Are you serious? That kid … that kid is a special one.”

Sure the replay is supposed to take care of the ridiculous misses by NHL officials... but I'm not going to get my panties in a twist if it also fixes the ones barely missed.

Just as I'd hate to lose a football game because the WR stepped an inch out of bounds and it was missed, I'd hate to lose a hockey game because a guy was offsides.

It's black and white, and in the world of NHL officiating - that's more than we can hope for.
