I've held onto every single jersey I've ever purchased, so it doesn't surprise me too much.Every once in a great while, I take a look on eBay for CCM or Koho jerseys that I want to add to my modest collection...stumbled across a Milan Kraft ( @Kraftster ) jersey last night, I nearly plotzed! Who would have held on to that for so long...

Did those players play in the NHL long enough to get pension...?
Kraft - as much as I liked him - played on the fourth line of a playoff team for 40 games and then played 150 more on an expansion-esque team...he's probably upset someone stole his jersey...

It passes my sniff test, I'm a nut for the right type of jersey, and fonts and nameplates and everything...my general feeling towards people that wear awful Chinese knock-offs is that they should be boiled...
The ones that are reasonably close, ok, fine, you don't want to spend a million bucks on a shirt...I get that...if you get close, ok, fine...but if it's obviously not remotely close...boiled.
Anyway, enjoy. I'm not gonna get it, not my size...

I'd even be a little more lenient and say on game days it's ok, but not as a replacement to formal attire a la Steelers jerseys in Sunday church. At what age should a grown-ass man stop wearing hockey jersey in public? 30? 35? Obviously, when you attend a game (or have a relative playing in a game) you are exempt.
Since I'm in that 35+ crowd, my jersey wearing is usually limited to weekend gamedays while running around. As somebody else mentioned, they do make a good alternative to a hoodie.

I'd say it's legit replica, as in not a Chinese knockoff. The Borntrade-era really didn't start hitting big until 2007ish.http://www.ebay.com/itm/2001-02-Koho-Au ... xyRhBSydT3

The nameplate does seem a little off, but I think it's only because the seller doesn't have the jersey completely flat.

No question to me that this is legit. I wouldn't have suggested it if it was some gibberish jersey haha....

Never. Who gives a **** what people wear. If you want to dress up as superman, go for it.
If you want to wear a jersey, go for it.

Licensed hockey jerseys that you could wear since you're 6'5" or more.

I'm 6'2"/6'3" and a large Reebok still comes to a little above halfway between my belt line and the bottom of my shorts. I'm sure an XL would work for someone that tall.

So... I last bought a jersey 10 years ago when my wife bought a road (white) Malkin jersey just before he made his debut. So it's been quite some time since since we were in such a market. Quick look at HouseOHockey (where my wife ordered from in 06) looks like 200$ replica and $400 authentic. For jerseys with all sewn names/numbers, anywhere significantly better in price than that that is a trusted vendor? Our last one before that was Straka when the skating penguin first came back 15-16 years ago.

If you're cool with waiting for the summer, check out Ice Jerseys. They usually have pretty good sales after the playoffs. Right now all eliminated teams are having sales...so obviously we have to wait until the SCF are done for us.

not sure if you're still collecting, but there's a Hedberg listed rather cheaply ($20) right now. Considering it's summer, you might be able to add it without breaking the bank.Every once in a great while, I take a look on eBay for CCM or Koho jerseys that I want to add to my modest collection...
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-On-I ... SwADxbUtfw
there's also a authentic Mario with a day left for $21.

I also made an offer on this jersey and then realized it was a youth XL
(and who said you couldn't put ads on jerseys? )

also found an Eaton #3. Looks like its stitched but not authentic. For $30 shipped, it's not a bad deal.

You're lucky that Hedberg is a 48 otherwise we'd be fighting for it.

Wait a second... Lemieux never wore a Reebok jersey, right? I didn’t think Reebok took over the jerseys until 2008.
