Pick-A-Pen #65 NJ Devils 6-MAR-2016 5:00pm EST

Official Rules:

Pick a player and score points based on his points scored in that game. Accrue more points than anyone else over the course of 82 games and the playoffs and you win. Players' points are weighted, so check the table and choose wisely. Point modifiers will be updated at least every ten games.

Picks must be submitted by puck drop. Actual faceoff times are almost always eight minutes after scheduled game times. So a 7:00 game will usually have a 7:08 faceoff. The official NHL score sheet will list the game start time. A pick made at the same time as puck drop will count.
Only players' last names will be counted (no nicknames)
No conditional picks- Part of playing the game is knowing who is playing the game. If you want to change your pick, you can edit your original post up until puck drop. Any edits after faceoff will disqualify you for that game.
Shootout Scoring - If your player scores in the shootout, he will earn one point. Shoot out points are not subject to the multipliers (i.e. Crosby shootout goal and Scuderi shootout goal are both worth one point).
Game Winning Goals - A game winning goal, whether scored during regulation or overtime, will earn one additional point (i.e. If Letang has a multiplier of 2 and scores the game winner, it's worth 3 points).
Bonus Point Opportunities - Over the course of the year there may be chances to get points over and above the regular picking of a player for each game. Be on the lookout for these.

I drew the MSG+ coverage from DirecTV today, so I have Jesse 'The Body' Ventura and pipsqueak.

For a Devils game I would've propped something along "Ruutu/Tootoo" mentions in situations that don't warrant actually repeating their names over and over.

I drew the MSG+ coverage from DirecTV today, so I have Jesse 'The Body' Ventura

I was curious to see how other broadcasters would call the game. MSG channel. Way into the game, the wife unit wants to know who is the meathead announcer. I say "Jesse Ventura." She comments, "at least you can understand Jesse Ventura. That is not Jesse Ventura."
