Yeah, people do that to my head about every other game in beer league and it's never called... although I think that says more about beer league refereeing than about that play.

Cross checking Crosby multiple times is okay though.
I'm OK with that as long as it's called consistently and evenly both ways. It isn't always, but usually defensemen can get away with that type of cross-checking in front of their own nets.
