Geez, the Panthers feed is REALLY casual. Not that it's a bad or good thing; it's just... surprisingly casual, like listening to the Steelers' radio broadcast. Edit: Nm, it's becoming unprofessional.

Hopefully the team is more confident tonight than I am.

lol at the attempt to get a slash call by Trocheck. Pens' PK has been pretty strong so far.

19-9 shots in favor of the Panthers, 0-0 game. Zatkoff in net. Hmm :pop:

Speaking of Trocheck... (for those of us who aren't watching the Root feed):

Nice pace to the first

Panthers have score 5+ goals in their last four games. Wow

Panthers could totally win the Cup.*

I'll cry if Jagr lifts the Cup again in another team's sweater. I've let bygones be bygones since #JagrWatch2011.

Speaking of Trocheck... (for those of us who aren't watching the Root feed):
That's the gleeful look of a demon spawn foreseeing a future in which he seeks to torment the team from his childhood--the team who drafted Joe Morrow and Scott Harrington over him.

"Damnnnnn you, Rejeannnnn Sheeeerrrrooooo!"

Or, it's an adorable kid beside himself for getting a photo with his hero. Whatever, decide for yourself.

I'd just love, for once, to see Pens be the team to get 5 goals on 15 shots.

Does Zatkoff look as good as the stat line indicates?

He's looked pretty good; the stat line is absurdly overblown (I don't remember the Panthers getting 20 shots in the 1st... MAYBE 15) by the hometown support. But that doesn't take away from Zatkoff, as he was entirely adequate to me in the 1st. Haven't been able to watch the 2nd due to work.

What a crazy shot by Jussi. I wonder if he were to try it again 99 times, if he'd make it even once more. Not that I'm tempting fate.

But, then again, what do I know about shooting a puck from a weird angle? Maybe it was easier than it looked to me.
