In fact, the Sharks got the only goal-on-a-lucky-bounce (the Hertl goal) and still lost.

But like I said during the game: The Sharks needed Jones to be great more than the Pens needed Murray to be great. If that keeps up, the Pens will do well.

does any of this really surprise you? there are 3 groups of fans actually watching this series - Pens fans, Sharks fans and Pens haters
the Pens could sweep the Sharks and the 2nd group would talk about how "unlucky" or "inexperienced in the SCF" the Sharks are and all the 3rd group would be talking about is how the NHL/officials rigged it so that Sid could win another Cup.

I've been quietly impressed with the Pens ability to suppress shots throughout the playoffs and they're still doing it in the SCF. They only gave up 26 last night and had 21 blocks. Most of those shots came in the third, but I can't find the official score sheets on NHL.com because it's a dumpster fire since the redesign.

It's been this way for a while, I think there was a Caps game where they only had 12 shots against.

Yeah, it's nearly impossible to find for some reason now...

There is a right side-bar/frame almost that you can scroll all the way through and at the bottom are all the game reports...

You can get to the sheets from the calendar on the Pens main website - click the date, click stats, then right click for the report you want. Or have their URL format saved somewhere and adust the 8 digit season, the sheet type - GS, ES, SS, TH, TV, RO, etc.; the game type (01 preseason, 02 regular season, 03 postseason) and then the four digit game number. This basic format still works going back about 15-16 years. Fewer sheets available the further you go back.

I.e. change the season to 19992000 and you get a 7-3 Devils win over the Stars.

you're welcome, @dodint. Looks like 1999-2000 may be oldest season still on there. Once upon a time, they had older content that went away with some previous website redesign many many moons ago.
