There were meaningful games yesterday. I fell asleep watching VAN/CAL.

Today is the last work day before a 4 day weekend, so I'll watch the Pens and then watch a compressed ThNF. Then wake up whenever I want to tomorrow.

What's this weekend? Or are these just days you took off?

Just looked at a calendar... Columbus Day. I wonder how many people get off for that.

I'll take an 8:30pm start in the NHL over an 8:30pm start in the NFL any day of the week. At least I know the game will be ending on the same date.

I work a compressed schedule (5/4-9) and this is my regular Friday off, and then Columbus Day. My wife is unimpressed because she has to both work and go to school on Monday.

Central Time Zone means the Pens will be on at 7:30pm (normally they come on at 6:00pm) which also helps. It's one of the few tangible benefits of moving to farmville.

I'm also off tomorrow - well, work at least, I still have to get up and take a 7-hour bus ride...Penguins and Colts start at the same time tonight. So, both computers will be going strong...

I get that day off. I work for a financial institution and my group follows the Federal Reserve calendar. They're off, we're off.

My old group follow the NYSE calendar. We didn't get Columbus Day or Veterans' Day off. We did get Good Friday, which I found to be odd.

Porter is actually a pretty useful guy if a GM is in a tight spot. He has some scoring ability and can play all 3 forward positions. Hobey Baker winner.

Porter is actually a pretty useful guy if a GM is in a tight spot. He has some scoring ability and can play all 3 forward positions. Hobey Baker winner.

He looked slow in the preseason though.
