Just able to tune in - how have Schultz & Simon looked?
I'm no Howie Meeker but neither have looked out of place. Schultz' skill in the offensive end has been very evident, especially on the PP where he made a great patient play that lead to a goal.

I don't see Schultz coming out anytime soon. With Malkin out, he's going to get top pp minutes.

Daley has to open his eyes on the PP there. He has Kessel wide open on the left side where Kessel can walk in and snap one like he did for so many years in Toronto. Instead he defers to Maatta on the side wall.

I agree with Eddie...put Sheary on the power play. Why not?

Forgot how much I disliked this commentary combination on NBC. :P McGuire + NBC stupidity... oh well.

If you would've told me that the Pens'd be up 3-2 without Malkin in New York, I would've been happy no matter what.

Schultz and Simon have been good in this one. Schultz has been mentioned an inordinate amount of times by Doc today...it's as if he is a Pirate or something...

The Rangers have a reoccurring theme of trying their damnedest to try and give up a goal in the last minute of a period

Actually, I just watched it again. He said two times that if you are a Flyers fan, you are ecstatic and celebrating Malkin's injury. And his co-host agreed. To be honest, that's more a statement on Flyers fans, and he is probably right. Still, his whole message came off as crass.

LOL - Shaf, stop posting at the exact same time as me. Was gonna say the same thing - it's a non-story despite me wanting Milbury as far away from anything hockey-related as possible.

Here's the segment for those who want the context.

I'd take Kreider on this team any day of the week.

I'll also despise him on the opposing team every day, haha.

Why in the world would Kunitz engage Kreider there and thus, possibly wake up the Rangers?
