I'm still not big on the dimples and I question how much breathability it actually adds.

When I was a kid I saved up all year to buy the authentic Nedved version of this original sweater. We went down to Station Square and ordered it from that big shop down there and waited for it to come in. The thing was hefty and felt like it was worth the $300 or so I paid for it, which was a huge sum for me at 10 years old. Not that Adidas even sells these to the public but if they were on offer I don't think I would buy one.

NFL did the same thing when they went to the Nike stretch material. They're basically single-use jerseys which is great for the players but wouldn't work for fans.

90% of my jerseys are Authentics, and the CCM ones from the past are about 6000% nicer in every way possible.

The quality of the Adidas "authentics" vs the quality of the CCM authentics isn't even close. I will say though that the Adidas jerseys look much better on fans than the CCM jerseys do. The cut is made with casual wear in mind, even the "authentics" sold by Adidas. Those CCMS, especially the authentics, tend to look like ponchos

Plus, if you think the Adidas authentics are bad, you should see the Fanatics jerseys that somehow sell for $170.

Yeah, unfortunately I sold my CCM Nedved jersey when I was 17 or so. I met him at the convention center and had it autographed, so I just stopped wearing it and it became a wall hanger. I bought the same style jersey again when I was in my early 30s but not being able to find a CCM authentic I have the Starter version.

My brother bought a lady liberty NYR authentic player jersey back in the 90s. the fabric was so thick and shiny. It felt very heavy wearing it.

Two areas of concern that will be highlighted in Guentzel's absence are the fact that the Pens have received almost no goals from their defensemen all season to this point, and also the fact that Poulin and Legare (combined 5 goals, -9 in 35 games in WBS) are not ready to be called up to the big team.

I mentioned prior to the season that this roster would need great goaltending and entry level help to overachieve and become a serious contender. Jarry has delivered beyond all expectations. The prospects have not. In fact, none of them have contributed anything at all. To me, this is a bigger concern than most ppl are making it out to be.

Picked up the new alt jersey at PPG. Just a heads up if you’re planning on getting it: Pens Gear has limited stock, once it’s gone it’s gone for a while. And only the PPG location has mens jerseys. Don’t be an idiot like me and go to the south side first.

Also the prime green jerseys run about two sizes smaller than the old adidas authentics for some reason. Found that out the hard way also.
