Only played 2 years in NA. 18 years old. 16 points in 42 games last season in the USHL.skullman80 wrote:Nikita Pavlychev, C, Russia is the Pens last pick.
Big boy at 6'7". Honestly know nothing about him.

Bob Murray (Ducks GM) sounds like a leprechaun.

Pavlychev is extremely uncoordinated at last check. Looks like he hasn't been 6'6" for very long and shows it.

Does anyone have info on how the picks form last year have progressed at all?

Sam Lafferty (4th round): 12 points in 31 games for Brown last year. 1st year playing college.
Anthony Angello (5th round): 35 points in 56 games for Omaha of the USHL.
Jaden Lindo (6th round): 9 points in 49 games with Owen Sound. 34 PIMs.
Jeff Taylor (7th round): 31 points in 34 games for Union. As a defenseman.
Unfortunately it's only a superficial, statistical look. There isn't much information outside of that.

Thanks. Yeah I figured no one would have a super detailed look, but that at least gives a general over view. Just was curious if anyone was standing above the rest.MR25 wrote:Skipping over Kapanen...skullman80 wrote:Does anyone have info on how the picks form last year have progressed at all?

I will prepare an update of things over the course of the summer...

IIRC, Lindo signed an ATO with WBS last year. Don't think he played at all, though.skullman80 wrote:Source of the post Thanks. Yeah I figured no one would have a super detailed look, but that at least gives a general over view. Just was curious if anyone was standing above the rest.

Seems like they made the best out of this draft. It was not likely to provide much but at least they got a high end talent that projects to have nhl size.

Wasn't he injured too when he got drafted? I think I remember that, but could be wrong.MR25 wrote:IIRC, Lindo signed an ATO with WBS last year. Pavlychek will definitely become a fan favorite here very quickly. They love Zach Saar just based on his size, and Pavlychek is bigger, so it should be fun to watch.

He might have been hurt this year and last, I think.skullman80 wrote:Wasn't he injured too when he got drafted? It appears the pens GM by committee is having some kind of public meltdown. Tables being taken away around them while they yell at one another. Take it private guys.

Yeah reading the same on twitter. Kind of odd. Unless they are all arguing where to go to dinner at or something haha.slappybrown wrote:It appears the pens GM by committee is having some kind of public meltdown. @BNHarrington: The #Penguins have finally decided to take their pucks -- and perhaps their internal gripes -- and go home. Meeting adjourned. Weird.

Too many cooks in the kitchen IMO. This is why having a committee like the Pens have is a bad idea most of the time. One person needs to make decisions. Period.

*Shrug* Just make Botterill GM next year. I prefer him over any of the other ones (don't mind GMJR).
