hah! this is the new normal. Its never going away. Its about to become a condition of employment in this country to get vaxxed or get tested weekly. So when are we going to get to the point when a positive covid test doesn't put someone out for X number of days? Next season? Never? Like you eventually have to draw the line by simply not testing for it as stringently right?

I mean I have no problem with vaccine requirement for employment. My company is making it mandatory starting the first of the year or you are gone.hah! this is the new normal. Its never going away. I think @nocera is on the right trail though. They will eventually move to a only test when you have symptoms model next season or something.

Maybe we should just pause for a week or two and get this **** under control? While we're paused, everybody gets a booster. That Johnson & Johnson garbage aint holding up.

Why is there a bunch of Holl to Pittsburgh junk on the webz right now (Toronto D for those that don't know). Did some clickbait professional blogger need to fill "column inches" and make up a rumor?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news and cold water to the crotch here...but Justin Holl has a no trade clause. Ya know, the guy that probably much of this board hasn't heard of (rightfully so) because he didn't become an NHL regular until he was like 28...yeah, he's got a 10 team list to go with $2 mil per year contract. Very likely was able to keep the number down (?) with that little throw in. I imagine they get more value out of him actually playing defense for them than he's worth in a trade. They can't take money, we can't take money...so what would trade even be? Riikola and Crotch for him? That doesn't really make much sense either way...plus Justin Holl would have to bless us with his permission...

Someone saw 6'4 RHD and got erect probably.
Hey, he's fine as a 3rd pairing guy. Probably better than ruhwedel. But on a team that has 8 guys making 8 figures, it's probably wise to keep a $2M player in the mix
