If everyone that whined for weeks about how stupid Rutherford was for sending DeSmith down (through waivers) while keeping up Jarry... could you all just live up over here...

If this team can somehow just tread water until hopefully everyone gets healthy....

The look on my son's face this morning as we watched the highlights and the clock hit triple zeros. He didn't care so much for the goals, he wanted that Jarry SO

It has to be a maintenance day for Letang. He played damn near 30 minutes last night and looked good.

Yeah, I think so, too.

Guentzel-Malkin-Rust
Kahun-McCann-Noesen
Aston-Reese--Blueger-Tanev
Galchenyuk-Lafferty-Simon

Marino-Schultz
Pettersson-Ruhwedel
Riikola-Trotman

ZAR is a turd and Lafferty should be on the third line ahead of him.

There is something special about this team. They have that fiery likability factor that reminds me of the 2015-16 squad. If Jarry can continue to blossom into an elite goaltender, this team's window might be open longer than we thought.

We still look like a pretty average team that nets average results...lose 3 in a row, beat a good team, blow leads to the Islanders, etc. I don't know, I'd like them to be special, and maybe they will be when everyone is healthy...but this team is just kind of plodding along with a bunch of unknown variables...

Credit to Sully for keeping this thing afloat though at least...

I tend to agree. The team is fun to watch and it’s clear they’re trying hard but being this depleted makes it hard to excel. Still, if/when they get healthy look out because a team with this attitude plus the skill position guys is super dangerous.

I saw Haase and Jesse crying last night because people blow up their mentions when Simon misses wide open chances. Maybe tone down the arrogance the once every 3 weeks he records a point and you wouldn't get people coming at you so hard.

Anyway, is there anyone even remotely talking Taylor Hall to Pittsburgh or is it only Yohe?

No, that's not a thing. Unless Murray goes a long way with them...and it might. But that's a bridge too far I'd say...

Given the adversity from basically the start of the season, this team has proven that it's not your average team, IMO. An average team would be in the dumpster right now.

Meh, I don't get too high or too low. But we won a game against the Blues. That's good. We win two lose two. We're like 7-8 last calendar month or whatever. I'll start looking for other avenues when the roster starts to not match the results. Average team (mas o menos) is producing about what you'd expect.

Kahun is coming through right now. Will that continue? Who knows...? He's a wild card. Remember when we couldn't find him for 20 games? Me too. It'd be nice to say that he'll be into it every night but that's not his NHL career to date. It's in and out.

Is Jarry going to continue to lead the league in all averaging stats? Meh, maybe. That'd help. But that's another wild card.

The game isn't predictable for us. That's why we have the structure we have and we have become a defensive team that thrives on transition, rush offense. The players are not predictable on the low end. And they aren't thrilling on the high end. So we have a structure to return to, find that predictable game and then we can branch from there when all these unknowns start to become knowns...

Is he filming something here?

He seems a little... odd... but he seems to truly like to be happy and have a good time. Not a party-animal, just a fun loving guy.
