It's usually made right off the stick. They can be tricky because you can lose the speed of the shot on it's way in - I guess because it is coming right at your face. I was coached, and I coach, to stay on your feet for those. There is no traffic and there shouldn't be a rebound so just glove it down while still on your feet.

Yes but this is exactly what you want to see from your team in games like these. Dont let them hang around. Dont coast and get by on talent by a goal or 2. Bury them and not have to tax yourself on the front end of b2b games could pay off tomorrow against the Caps.

Pretty great. Don't care that it was "only" the Coyotes; you need to win these games, and it was awesome to see the Pens so dominant (despite looking a bit sloppy at times). A Horny Hatty on a stuffed animal giveaway night was perfect.

Shane Doan is a jag. The Arizona announcers were saying stuff like Doan and Murphy weren't "going to let themselves be embarrassed." OK.

Couldn't tell you, I watch the Pens feed about 10 or 12 times a year probably...Steigy is too brutal to listen to and even the name of the channel is just dumb...can't you just be Fox Sports Pittsburgh or FSN Pittsburgh or whatever it used to be...? Almost as bad as the Avs feed on "Altitude Sports"...word is, is that Denver is above sea level, so...oxygen n'at...

I should know better. Here's what happens: The more hyped I get for a game, then more likely the Pens lay an egg. So, I would be wise and benevolent to turn it down a notch.

I actually went back on over to HF to see if those yokels were ready face the fact that he sucks. They in fact are not. Persistent bunch of morons. The main point of contention seems to be the belief that Plotnikov is better than Porter, which he isn't, is more physical than Porter, which is surprisingly is not, and would bring more to the lineup than Porter, which is also false.

It's splitting hairs over bottom of the roster players, but I don't see how anyone with a functioning brain could watch 32 games of Plotnikov and then a handful of games featuring the Sheary-Porter-Wilson line and not see who the more valuable player is.
