Nash will make it 2-0 halfway through the second, then Cole scores late in the 3rd, 1-2 final.

So glad we wasted a 2nd round draft pick on Winnik. I know, hindsight, but he has been worse than what Sill would have brought.
I'd be more upset about the first rounder for a guy playing on our 3rd line right now
To be fair, Perron has played a lot better than Comeau this series
I tend to expect more out of a guy that took a first rounder to get... God the Pens once got Hossa for a first rounder. :(

How'd you get the script?

If I cared I'd make a list of all players we traded draft picks for (1-3 rounds) and see who was drafted with those picks.

I'm trying to watch the game from the Rangers' perspective. Penguins look largely inefficient. I don't want to say they gave up already, but it seems they're just going with the flow. They're not in the driver's seat.

Hossa, pending FA or not was the definition of a game breaking player. Perron is not... I'm not saying every first rounder should bring a Hossa but IMO it should bring more than a Perron.

Perron's been clinically dead since about February.

Sid needs to be about 6 inches closer in on those faceoffs. He's getting destroyed because it's only the end of his stick that has any shot at contacting the puck after drop.

Hindsight nothing!

I'd key Rutherford's car for how he mortgaged this teams future for nothing
Are you Rob Rossi?

Can an adult give me a summary
St. Louis falls easily (on a legit penalty though). Rangers score on power play, use momentum to push hard. Fleury comes up huge. They're playing like they have one injury. Pens're playing like the injured team that they are.

And it's only 1-0. Rangers have not taken advantage & thus given Pens hope.

This GDT is something else, though.

The deal was Hossa and Dupuis for Armstrong, Christensen, Esposito and a 1st.

I always thought Crusher would turn into a good center for a bad team. Never quite worked out for him.

The fact that the Pens even made the playoffs this year was, what I consider, an "upset."

Same. We'll probably be saying the same thing about Beau in five years.

Not sure what to make of Perron, but he's hardly the flag bearer of underachieving on this team.
