Just the "Savard was fine except for the extra shove" bit. That's interference for me even before the second shove, but we have different opinions.

Edit: I mean that it's an unnecessary play that's much higher to bring injury. Sorry for not being clear.

I hear ya, but it's on Dumo. He leans into Savard, you can't initiate contact with a guy and then go, "mommmmmmm, he's stronger than me!"

That play happens, the bump for positioning, about 100 times per game...the extra shove is the thing that doesn't and is dangerous...

I can't believe I am saying this, but Bob is right. There is no need to launch another guy into the wall. Gotta get back to the intent of a hit is to separate posession, not inflict pain.

Which is why the hits 2 seconds after someone gets rid of the puck bother me so much. It's unrealistic but I'd almost prefer it to be like the rules on hitting a quarterback, where you can't hit them after the release unless it unavoidable.

I don't disagree to a degree. But the difference is, is once the QB gets rid of the ball, he never has anything to do with the play. In hockey, that guy is often a big part of the play shortly thereafter. But yeah, these 3 seconds later hits...two strides then commit type of deals, yeah, they don't need to happen...

350 wins. Wow. 4th fastest goalie to get there. Pretty incredible career so far. And to be completely honest, it's been a pretty quiet successful career to this point.

Workmanlike win and very necessary given the events in Tampa right now. Columbus can F off. They have very quickly ascended to #2 in teams I hate (Flyers will be #1 and will never lose that spot...Islanders holding at 3).

Malkin had one of his injuries where it looks like any other play but he will be out 4-6 weeks.

I listed a couple streamables before, but I'll get a batch for you that made people upset.

Basically, it was an ugly game filled with CBJ bullshit that the refs overlooked, per the norm. CBJ is not a good team, and they pulled down the Pens with them by playing rough & on the edge of legality.

Didn't watch the game. Looks like more of the same of us getting our heads flushed in toilets. But we won, so yay.
