Sadly, I did a 90 day trial and set the wrong date to cancel...so I have it for a year at full pop. Ugh. Other than the Clemson stuff, it's pretty pedestrian. The Pirates don't even warrant a game story, only a couple of minor league updates or player interviews every few days. Steelers coverage isn't great either, and I don't think the Penguins get a story for every game. It's weird.

I was hoping that it was more of a “I heard this was in the works” deal rather than a “we should do this” kinda thing.

Vancouver is really desperate for cap space...that doesn't sound like a match for us, I know, but what if we could "solve" a problem and get a sweetener...

Would you do Brandon Sutter and Adam Gaudette for, say, Dominik Simon...?

I don't know that Vancouver does that, because it's only one year of Sutter...but their starting goalie is a UFA and they want to keep him, Toffoli they're trying to keep...Gaudette is a high price to pay...but that gives us two RHS center, one veteran defensive one who we all know...and then young Gaudette who I am huge fan of...I'd give a pick to make this deal happen as well...but we see how expensive it is to move money in this economy, if there's a thought that maybe Gaudette would be an expansion draft casualty anyway (I don't know, I didn't do the exercise)...I don't know, I'd probably want to know how close I was at moving out other money (Johnson...?) but I definitely don't mind adding two RHS centers, one of which is skilled...
