My perception is that Sutter is held in higher esteem by the traditionalist crowd.

His historic production in the counting stats is generally better though he's been around longer.

He also gets a my last name is Sutter bonus in some circles.

If I had asked you or mikey a week ago whether you do a Sutter for Bonino trade straight up without regard for salary you both answer no.

Analytics would say the contrary.

Hmm, interesting...you know my thoughts on Sutter, but I look at this deal as a win overall...and I'm a big supporter of adding Fehr, for the record...

Boner has a disadvantage, too, of always playing in the Pacific Time Zone...Anaheim and Vancouver, a lot of people aren't going to pick up on the not-overwhelmingly-skilled-or-fast player whose best asset is his hockey sense, ya know? Not a passing glance. You have to watch his game close to appreciate it...

Tomorrow you can sign either one for the term and salary of your choosing. Who do you pick?

Do I have Fehr on the roster? Handedness may factor into my decision...

Sutter. He's the better skater, which is big because the Metro is going to be the fastest division in the league. He's also a righty
