Pens continue to be obsessed with signing veteran defenseman. Warsofsky signed once again to a 2 year deal worth $700K per season. Was with the Avs the past two seasons and spent all of 2018-19 in the AHL.

Also signed C/LW Andrew Agozzino to a 2 year, $700K/season deal. Has been with the Avs his entire career and has played in 21 NHL games, including 11 last season. Scored 60 points in 56 games in the AHL last year.

I don't think either product exists, but they sounded like something fatties would eat and drink...

mikey, what does the defense look like for WBS next season? Looks like PO Joseph, Almari, Trotman, Czuczman, and Warsofsky are the only AHL eligible defensemen they have signed.

Can't wait til Warsofsky gets a call up after an injury so Riikola can ride the bench even more

I think that's gonna get filled in later...you gotta watch your vets, I wonder how creative they'll be...August 15 for NCAA players, if they see someone with expiring draft rights...other guys that shake out...AHL only deals (Lauzon)...but right now, it's really early to tell...I wish I thought we were more fashion forward on these contract spots, as I've stated plenty...but I'm a bright-eyed, aspiring young man...it's much easier to deal with the devil you know (War, Trots, etc) than the devil you don't...Yakovenko, etc.

Of the 18 skaters (not counting two goaltenders) that teams may dress for a game, at least 13 must be qualified as “development players.” Of those 13, 12 must have played in 260 or fewer professional games (including AHL, NHL and European elite leagues), and one must have played in 320 or fewer professional games. All calculations for development status are based on regular-season totals as of the start of the season.

So basically you get a five old guy leeway before you need to start counting games played.

I don't want McCann with Sid. He can't play RW, which forces Jake to RW where he is nowhere near as good as he is on the left side.

Does Simon play center for those wanting to ditch Jugs?

We didn’t trade for Kahun to put him on line 4

I like that 4th line better than the 3rd line.

Seems to be a lot of Jugs dislike here. What's the problem with him?
