Lapierre, Downie and Chorney for me.

Comeau but only on the top 2 lines in a pinch.

Ehrhoff would be good at the right price but his injuries this season put me off a wee bit.

Wouldn't keeping Chorney mean that there's a risk of losing Dumoulin to waivers during the season?

Unless I'm missing something, it will be Letang, Scuderi, Pouliot, Maatta, Cole, and Lovejoy as your top 6.

Ditch Scuds, with Dumoulin/Chorney as 6/7.

Would love to, but that either requires a trading partner or to buy him out.

I guess you can argue that the money saved from the buyout could be spent on Chorney since I don't see him costing that much. 12 combined games with the Penguins and $550k salary. I can see him signing cheap if he's guaranteed a one-way.

I'd give Chorney a one-year, one-way deal for league min.

I agree, I think he earned it with his play.

I wouldn't be upset if Chorney came back. But I'd let him know that we don't see him as more than a #7...I'd definitely encourage him to see if he can get better elsewhere...maybe get a second year elsewhere or a better role...

That said, on this club, the #7 over the years normally plays 60 games...so, maybe this is his best chance...

They aren't really in the position to be particularly picky about their #7 and he appears to meet the minimum standard. For God's sake, at least he's not Bortuzzo.

Are they expecting Sundqvist for the fourth line role?

Kind of sucks. Lapierre proved his worth in the playoffs. I trust GMJR though

Good. 35 games of NOTHING followed by 3 or 4 of above average... Does not equate to a "keeper"...

Maybe. If it was 35 games of decent play followed by 5 games of nothing in the playoffs I bet you would be saying the same thing
