A weird part of me really does want to see this team get blown up. It's absolutely too top heavy.

They would make the wrong choice, if they did that; I'm talking about which center.

Same. I love change and it would be fascinating if nothing else.

Is it okay to say this team has problems? I mean you can polish a road apple with optimism all day but it's still a road apple.

It is pretty much a certainty that our entire medical staff needs replaced.

Think of the return you could get if Crosby was available.

When does the possibility to miss the playoffs become a reality for a guy like Crosby? He missed them what, the first two seasons of his career and he's been back ever since. It would be interesting to be in his mind right now...

Man MJ may be worse than Bylsma
Then let's hope that Rutherford is better than Shero.

I don't watch closely enough to see the x's and o's but we were never this bad under DB. And injuries aren't an excuse because we were horrifivly injured last year too and almost got the first seed.

If we have another meh season next year MJ should be gone

Not at all. I'd take Malkin over Crosby any day though. 20+ mil in two players is a MAJOR problem in today's NHL though.

Man, having a 12th forward would be huge right now. Huge.
This is one of those times where I initially chuckle and say "heh, nice funny meow", and then I think, "****, is there some fundamental strategy difference with that extra forward that would ACTUALLY make a difference?". Then I chuckle, and think, "Of course not". But then

Well, you don't want to point to that for a poopy game so far, but look at how we've been scored on. Off the rush. To me, the high forward is a mess and that can happen because forwards aren't use to playing with each other. It's a possibility, but ehh. I don't know.

I heard it as a young guy working in the mill. An older division superintendent shared that with me while we were working on production numbers.

I didn't see it elsewhere on here, but HCMJ said he had issues with the compete levels of 4 or 5 players against St. Louis.

How is that happening this late in the season, with this core of players?

Part of me agrees with you guys but the other part hopes that they're just not playing balls to the wall yet. (Can I say that?!)
