Terrible, just terrible effort.

I have to blame this on a poster. Not going to mention any names, but his name starts with an m ands ends with a y. Jinxed us from page one. :) (just kidding, mostly)

I never leave games early. Ever.

I left early today. That was a **** pathetic showing. I've seen pee-wee players between periods play a better game than the Pens showed today.

Another putrid afternoon effort. I rarely come on here and be negative, but these guys have no heart. Geno and Kessel stole another paycheck today. You don't lose on home ice to Calgary when you are in a playoff race. If they didn't wet the bed every time they play the Flyers and Caps it would be different - but quite a few games left against teams the Pens "don't match up well against." This was a golden opportunity to pick up 2 points in the standings. They promptly cancelled out the momentum gained by beating the Rags by going out today and laying this massive egg. Can't imagine Sullivan is too pleased...

This is the only game I've unironically yelled for someone to shoot the puck. Can't tell you how many times I watched someone pass up a grade A chance only to lay some **** drop pass or take it down to the goal line and hoped they hit something. I just don't understand it.

These are the same points Philadelphia gave away to Edmonton on Thursday night. We're still all right. Two tough games in the last four days or whatever. Didn't take it seriously, didn't have a good game. It sucks, but all you can do is be better the next time...and it won't take much...

I liked the line of Hornqvist-Crosby-Hagelin. It should have stayed together. At least it had momentum.
