Either way, on the aggregate Brandon Sutter was our best player the past two playoffs by my eye.
...because it's too boring and wouldn't prove a point to say malkin was better in 2014 and crosby was miles better last year.

Well, that, and the fact that it wasn't my point. Combine 2014 and 2015 playoff runs, who was the best player on the Penguins during those games? I don't think there's any doubt it's Brandon Sutter. Maybe Marc-Andre Fleury in the two hole?

You citing individual years, rightly or wrongly, was not the point...

yes, aggregate. i get it. so it would be malkin then, since he was equally good against CBJ, much much better against NYR and the gap last year between the 2 players was narrower than the gap between them in the 2014 NYR series. it's a minor thing, and it shows the bug has not been removed from my butt about sutter, but i felt like pointing it out none the less.

 Yeah, this whole Sutter thing is still fresh in your head. At least your somewhat cool with Bonino. I'll concede the benefit of the doubt about which mountain was taller because it shows that lowly old Brandon Sutter played well enough to be compared to a former Conn Smythe winner in his prime. I think Geno was hurt last year, to his credit, if I remember right...tough to think he could go scoreless in an entire series despite being on the ice for a third of it...a series of one goal games, no less...
