This is an astonishing poll. Not surprising to me, except I didn't know so many people felt this way. I think Sid is a slightly better player, yet seeing him make 3 blind passes right to the other team on one shift in our last game showed me just how stupid he plays these days. Did he think he was going to surprise unaware players? No, lol. Man, this is a new league. Smarter players, better systems. Can't play that way anymore, but he keeps doing it over and over and over again. He needs a coach to tell him what to do because I think he's out of ideas. Maybe because some of the interference is back or maybe because more players skate as well as he does and he basically runs out of time to think of something different. But he's not playing well, even if he does have the highest ppg.

Neither, but if forced I would keep Crosby. He's younger, cheaper, and less injury prone. These guys are so similar production wise that these factors would probably make me lean Crosby.

They're similar in production, but Crosby still has a slight edge there. The other, and perhaps biggest, factor is profitability. Crosby is a huge money maker. As much as we'd like to think it's all about the hockey, it isn't; these organizations are in it to make money, too.
