I hope Jagr drives out a Zamboni first intermission with the haul of bobbleheads.

5 points out despite a 1-6-1 stretch at a critical part of the season.

It's a long shot but they really shouldn't mail it in yet.

So there were bobbleheads or there were no bobbleheads?

Shockingly, Olbermann is wrong. The bobbleheads were stolen, obviously, or they would've been given out last night. The Penguins likely knew they were stolen long before it was announced. So they quickly put together that little Jagr video and leaned into it. Even in the unlikely event that they didn't know they were stolen before yesterday, that video would take their team about 2 hours to create, if that.

I didn't realize that bobblehead theft was a centrist or conservative cause...

He's probably a smart guy, but he just went so far up his own assh*le about what a white knight he is - as is the style of the times - that he's just beyond reproach...

Here's the thing, a lot of people had the thought of "wait, were these really stolen?" after the Jagr video was posted (myself included on the previous page). But most people also said things like "if this is a bit..." and did not definitively say one way or another. Olbermann not only said "this is a bit" but also posted it for his nearly 1 million followers to see while calling for somebody's job. He did no further investigating, no reporting, didn't even bother to reach out to the Pens or hell even just look in the comments of their Jagr video. I mean, for **** sake, the Pens were responding to comments asking if the bobbleheads were really stolen with "yes, unfortunately they were really stolen..."

Long story short, yeah he's an idiot. And I've just put way more thought into this post than Keith put into his.

My only disappointment is that they went with a buddy cop style promo and not Liam Neeson in Taken-esque

Pens are in a weird spot right now where they could either sneak into the playoffs *or* end up with the first pick in the draft. The odds obviously favor them missing out on both of those things, but honestly, I'd be happier with the latter as opposed to them making it and getting bounced in 5 games.

Hmph. Another Boston College product. Might as well see what he's got, I suppose.
