Still waiting for someone at Rivers to glance at my ID...
Beginning to think they do not want my business.
Still working this.

Also locked out of my Bovada account because their two-factor authentication system has the wrong phone number on my account.

I figure betting on these teams to be rusty af is pretty solid. So I went hard on the under 53.5 tonight. Did the maximum matched first deposit at BetRivers and then put it all on the under. Match isn't credited yet so it is basically a free bet.
So, yeah, safe for you all to take the over. ;)

54.
Lost it on a field goal because the Chiefs were one snap short of being able to kneel it out. In part because the Texans got away with a really blatant false start. Then decided to kick the worlds worst onside kick. Not sure I have ever seen someone return an onside kick that far.

Cool.

Like I said, I get a do over, so no big deal. But this would have been a nice way to start the season.

I did something similar...same mindset, same frustrating chain of garbage time events...

Also had Mahomes and Watson throw 2+ TDs each at +300 as a means of hedging my under...and Watson runs in the last one, faking it to my fantasy RB in the process...

v dum

Hah:

NFL bad beat: Someone bet $35,000 on the Falcons in-game moneyline to win $1,050, and lost.

That's not a bad beat. Just a bad bet.

I think about those often...just $10,000 on an impossible scenario to blow and then get a $1,000 back or $800 back...I don't have the balls though because of the Falcons mostly, I guess...

I got burned on one in hockey and haven't reached for the stove ever since. I can't remember the bet, though.

Finally won a parlay yesterday. Two whole legs to it. I would do it more often but I like to bet props and they often won't let you take something like the over and a QBs completions, etc.

But I used some BetRivers turbo boost thing thing were giving away and got a 5x return on betting against the Bengals.

Barring an error in my semi-convoluted logic, I'm a touch surprised at the results...or lack thereof.

I took all of the NHL results for the last three seasons. I identified all instances where the home venue hosted the same road team in consecutive games at the home venue (i.e. what this NHL schedule has to offer) and was surprised there were very, very few instances of this...

Date | Road| Score | Home | Score | Note
11/27/2019 Boston Bruins 2 Ottawa Senators 1
12/9/2019 Boston Bruins 2 Ottawa Senators 5
1/7/2018 New Jersey Devils 4 New York Islanders 5 SO
1/16/2018 New Jersey Devils 4 New York Islanders 1
12/21/2018 Chicago Blackhawks 2 Colorado Avalanche 1
12/29/2018 Chicago Blackhawks 3 Colorado Avalanche 2 OT
12/22/2018 Florida Panthers 2 Detroit Red Wings 1
12/31/2018 Florida Panthers 4 Detroit Red Wings 3 SO
1/21/2018 Philadelphia Flyers 2 Washington Capitals 1 OT
1/31/2018 Philadelphia Flyers 3 Washington Capitals 5
1/2/2018 Washington Capitals 5 Carolina Hurricanes 4 OT
1/12/2018 Washington Capitals 4 Carolina Hurricanes 3
12/22/2018 Washington Capitals 4 Ottawa Senators 0
12/29/2018 Washington Capitals 3 Ottawa Senators 2

That is 7 more instances than I was expecting. Home and Away happens a lot.

Did the visiting teams have any games between those matchups I wonder? Lots of dates in-between each occurrence.

I have the Eagles in a parlay where the first two legs hit and in two separate single bets, one at +6.5 and me at +3. The most money I’ve ever had in a non super bowl game (not that much, I have $90 at risk)

one of the prop bets I made on the Super Bowl was Leveon under 2.5 yards. Looking now, my book is claiming it's a "No Bet" rather than a win for me

I don't get it. I guess maybe you could argue that it's a no bet since he didn't have a carry but that's dumb. He wasn't made inactive before the game so that **** should count
