I teased it out...just in case for some reason Bortles/Robinson just went hog wild for 21 points all of a sudden...that kept me covered for the 24-21 Denver win...

" A bettor at a William Hill sportsbook in Nevada needs the New England Patriots to cover the 7-point spread tonight against the Baltimore Ravens to complete a 15-leg parlay and turn their $5 bet into a $100,000 payday."
Anyone here? ;)

Oh, ****,
A man who bet $5 on a 15-leg parlay card at a William Hill sports book in Nevada needed the New England Patriots to win by more than seven points to win $100,000 on Monday.

Because the Patriots beat the Baltimore Ravens by exactly seven, 30-23, the result of the 15th game of the parlay, after the previous 14 had come through, was a push.

William Hill spokesman Michael Grodsky confirmed to ESPN that it was an all-or-nothing parlay card. As such, the push didn't reduce it to winning a 14-leg parlay; it made the entire card worthless.

Wow, and Tucker nearly missed that kick too with 2:03 left...so not only did he have to see the Patriots win, which is bad enough, they didn't win by quite enough to win him a $100,000...life's tough...

The sports book in question is getting some great free advertising, so they definitely won more than $5.

I'd feel bad for the guy, but a 15 leg parlay is pretty much like buying a lottery ticket, so I don't feel ba d

Yeah, the part where I feel for him is that he lost it in the last 2 minutes of a MNF game after getting the rest of the weekend perfect.

Which is made worse by the fact that the Patriots of all teams had a back to back muffed punt and fumbled kickoff that led to Ravens points when they were on their way to being blown out.

Yeah, seriously, Patriots special teams might be one of the few special teams that move the needle in pro football...they always make field goals, their punt and kickoff teams are diesel usually, they always have pro bowl guys captaining their special teams groups...for them to botch back-to-back plays like that is about as unpatriotic as forgetting 9/11...

Made slightly bigger bets than usual in some not-5-game-parlay situations...

Under 40 on Iowa/Florida
Clemson out-right over Ohio State (I parlayed these two, and then took an alternate spread where Clemson is giving points to OSU and, naturally, won that as well).

Bought on Green Bay over Detroit on the opening line at -3...it crept to -4.5 I think by my normal betting time...either way I was gonna be safe, but the -3 bought me a little safety from a potential backdoor fat face cover as he likes to get...

I'm thinking about parlaying together a little wild card weekend for myself...but the lines are a little tough...still might go with it based on my post in "NFL"...

EDIT: Oh, also I did a small live bet on USC when they went down 49-35 to win...

6-part parlay in NHL tonight:
NYR over NYI
Wpg/Pit over 6.5 (!)
Ott/NJ under 5
Van/StL over 5
StL over Van
LA over Arz

6.5 is the highest line I've seen for an NHL game since 2008...

Fun: bet a parlay last night where I accidentally bet on Philadelphia instead of the Isles...by the time I realize my mis-click it was too late...well, that accident looked pretty good with Philly up 5-0 after 1. Winnipeg scored with 12 seconds left to hit the over...so I hit a 10:1 parlay (with Boston, CBJ +1.5, Montreal)...can't fight fate...

I cashed out my winnings into bitcoin from last betting season. Bitcoin became like 6x more valuable or some ish...then I got a 150% immediate bonus for depositing with bitcoin. So, I basically dropped $400 of absolutely free money into my betting account. Much of that is on a fight that I know nothing about...

Basically, I covered the bases of Mayweather winning by decision/going the distance...with a small (but powerful) hedge on McGregor cold cocking him in the first three rounds...
