I'd hold on to fitz for sure. He should be a fringe starter until palmer gets hurt.

Well, pick between Fitz and Floyd...no reason to have both, considering John Brown might be the most productive WR in that group when it's all over and Fitz was used as more of a decoy/run blocker/"it's 3rd and 5 and we need someone with testicles to make a catch on a poorly thrown inside slant" guy towards end of last season...

Appreciate the feedback. Like I said this was really kind of a one off for me, I usually at least prepare SOME for a draft, and the roster limit thru me a bit strategy wise. About halfway thru I was pretty happy with my top 2 RB then realized "holy crap we have 3 flex spots, I need more there."
Is Fitz really that down now? I've had on different teams for a few years so I should really know by now, and Palmers his best QB, but he was sitting there in like the 10th round I had to take him. Is he just done fantasy wise?
EDIT: Nevermind, you guys just posted that Fitz stuff before my post submitted.

Yeah, that was the portion of the season after Palmer was out. Palmer is healthy now, so they're actually going to have a quarterback that knows how to use the field. I'm not targeting Fitz remotely early, but he is easily worth rostering and in a league i'm in he will get drafted at some point.

oh god
so I'm in a another draft right now, this one with 4 other family members. I concinced my friend to join the league by saying my family sucked and they prove me right by my brother taking Eli f*cking Manning in the second round (And then justifying it) and my sister in law taking Chris Ivory right after (second round still).
yikes...
$50 league too

I got stuck in a 20 (yes, twenty) team league.
Only 6 position spots (3 of which are flex), D, and K. 4 bench spots.
Really hoping I don't get stuck with the 20th OV pick. We couldn't split the divisions into their own draft.

Jeez. Everyone should be picking RB until all of the worthwhile ones are off the board. I'd rather be late so that I would have a chance of getting 2 RBs assuming it snakes.
15-16 Fantasy Football thread
It's weighted towards RBs and WRs so that'll probably be the strategy.

Picking at the end of the 1st round, I assume my options are going to be something like CJ Anderson, Matt Forte, Jeremy Hill, Dez, Demaryius, and Megatron. What strategy would you take here?
I assume most would go RB/WR but it really wouldn't surprise me if any of those running backs busted. I'm thinking about just rolling the dice with 2 receivers and then hope to catch someone steady like Alfred Morris the next time around. There's enough high upside guys (Foster, Gurley, Randle, Abdullah, etc.) going late that if I hit on one of them I should still have a serviceable running back pair.

Matt Forte seems team-proof...he can run with no o-line, he can catch if they don't have a lead, he's a three-down back and his only competition that I'm readily aware of is young Jeremy Langford (who I rated the 9th best rookie RB in the class, and when you figure only about 4-5 RBs per draft turn out or so, he's kind of a longer shot)...
Finding a workhorse RB is, roughly, infinity times harder than finding a productive WR...

Who's your number 1 RB this year? I have 3rd pick in a draft later.. Bell is kept. Debating between Charles, AP, Lacy and Lynch, whoever is left at 3. Doesn't seem to be a clear cut order like usual.
Also at QB, I think my move this year is wait and go with Palmer and Bradford. I think you're gonna get decent numbers as long as one of them is healthy each week.

Bell, AP, Lacy is my top 3 with a gap before number 4. I don't know if I would put Lynch or Charles at 4. I think I'd go with Charles.

Ill have lynch till his wheels fall off as im keeping him for like a 10th, but he scares me every year. He has so many miles on him. Id probably go lacy. Bell would be my number 1 in a redraft league though.

I'm not as high as everyone else is on Lacy. I'll take AD or Charles
which was illustrated by me taking Charles with my first pick in both my drafts so far

I'd be careful with JC as Andy Reid seems to be against using him fully for some reason...
I'd probably go Bell...

12-team league, been going on since MIMH was a toddler. You're allowed two keepers: no more than one can be an RB. If you keep one player, you "lose" your first round pick (essentially the keeper gets slotted into the first round for your pick), and if you keep two, you "lose" the second round pick.
I have Adrian Peterson who is my RB keeper. My QB was Brees, not keeping, ADP is late 3rd round/early 4th for a 12 team league, but my best WR is Randall Cobb. Cobb's ADP is around 18-22 on most sites (FantasyPros average across six sites -- ESPN, Yahoo, FanTrax, CBS, NFL, and FFC -- has him at 20.3). That's inched up a few spots since Nelson's injury.
Keep Cobb or roll the dice to see what else gets dumped back into the player pool? I am pretty sure I am keeping but wanted to get thoughts.

If you don't draft McCoy first you should hand in your PU super fan card.

Keep Cobb, his ADP is a little off because Jordy only got hurt last week. Cobb is going to have a for sure top 10 season but he might even be top 512-team league, been going on since MIMH was a toddler. You're allowed two keepers: no more than one can be an RB. I had a 12 team 16 round POR draft last night... Got Julius Thomas in the 14th. I'll take it
15-16 Fantasy Football thread
that seems about right. He should go in the crapshoot portion of the draft.

Well, since it's all younger QBs, I thought Geno because it seems like it's for a late pick in a dynasty league or something...
So with that...
1/2. Bortles/Carr
4. Foles
4b. Smith
