Week 10 is only week 8 for him and he gets a bye. I'm not worried about him being tired. If he's going to get hurt it will most likely be like last year and a random play that could happen week 1 or week 17 IMO, as opposed to the chronic injuries tht plague older dudes.having games off doesn't mean much if its at the beginning of the season. 95% of players are healthy at the beginning of the year. Not just 13, but Bell is missing the first two weeks, so that's 2 weeks of rest for him (unless the 13 weeks was taking that into account). If that's your concern playing a 14 game schedule (13 for fantasy purposes) should only alleviate that aspect.
Jamaal Charles over bell is nuts IMO.
Rest would mean a lot more near week 10 when everyone is banged up in some way

There's no way I would bother with a 20 team league. In no way does that look fun.If you need a reason not to join a 20 team league:
QB: Stafford, Fitzpatrick
RB: Bell, Ellington, Deangelo Williams
WR: Manny Sanders, Boldin, Terrance Williams
Flex: Fleener, Clay
K: Crosby
D/ST: Baltimore
So agonizing waiting 40 picks and watching everyone you want get picked.

I agree, my point is that you can't really call it rest if its at the beginning of the seasonhaving games off doesn't mean much if its at the beginning of the season.

And that logic is dumb.
It's 2 games that Bell won't be playing. He'll be at 8 games whenever everyone is at 10. It doesn't matter when that 2 games off is. It's 2 games of rest that he normally would not have.

12 team, no ppr
my RBs suck but I'm fine with everything else

That's risky drafting in a no ppr. I'm curious how it will end up doing.

I cant imagine it goes well without one good rb.

No PPR league and you drafted 4 ball catchers before your first RB?

Especially considering you took Brown when guys like Charles, Lynch, Hill, Murray, Anderson, etc were still available. You could have ended up with CJ Anderson and say Morris, Hyde, Ingram, etc coming back around.

I'm the first overall pick for the first time ever. I have no idea who to draft and it's in 13 minutes.

See MIMH's draft...just do the opposite of that...
Bell, Charles, AP, depending on scoring, are all good choices...

Why would I take those guys? Brown is rated the 6th best overall guy by FantasyPros and obviously the best WR. Why would I take a second tier RB instead of him?Especially considering you took Brown when guys like Charles, Lynch, Hill, Murray, Anderson, etc were still available. You could have ended up with CJ Anderson and say Morris, Hyde, Ingram, etc coming back around.

For the Record, I could've taken Charles but decided not to because I had him in my other two leagues already. Didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket

Because top tier running backs are at a mega premium. But if you're gonna take a WR 1st, of course Browns the guy, but don't follow it up with 3 more receivers.

Are you saying you wouldn't take Gronk at 20?
I draft on value, not to fill categories.
When I won two years ago, I drafted Lacy in the fifth round or so and picked up Bell and Zach Stacy off waivers. Drafting RBs isn't a necessity

Yeah i guess being in a league with morons makes it easy. Im not sure that justifies a poorly constructed team. Of course why join a league like that?

so you play for easy money but decide to handicap yourself? You are acting as if rbs are dime a dozen and wrs are a precious commodity. Youre the only person ive encountered that thought that way...mostly because its completely wrong.

I was just going by what I considered the best value at the time. I didn't want to reach for an RB. If I saw an RB worth taking, I would've taken them. Gronk at 20 was a no brainer, Sanders and Brees were average value and everyone else I took was great value.so you play for easy money but decide to handicap yourself? I'll never understand people's love affair with RBs.

Well, look at our draft here. It's clear that workhorse RBs are a dying breed. There's like 8-12 RBs at most that are worth having...there's about 50 WRs...so that's why...
Teams throw for 4500 yards per year and run for 1500...that's also why...
