Still early, but I'm loving Lamar Miller's workload so far.

Thats the workload hes gonna get. The question is whether he can hold up doing it. The Dolphins never seemed to think he could.

Yeah, and it's not an elite talent...so there's a sustainability issue as well...Miller is one of those "if he was better, he'd be good" players for me...probably a mid-tier talent, but in the right situations, those guys can produce in the short-term (see: Murray, Demarco)

ESPN, my goodness. What a time for your fantasy site and apps to fail. Then not have them back online yet after hours. I wish ESPN would go away.

Damn most successful opening fantasy week I think I've ever had. 3-0 by an average of 42pts. Not to mention when my plane landed I see the Chiefs with the comeback to snap my 3 year Week 1 Survivor skid.

I was so pumped I managed to steal Keenan Allen in the 4th round of a PPR league. It was a great quarter and a half.

Allen going down sucks in my main league...however, he wasn't a regular starter for me, so I guess worse things have happened...

I play my sister this week and she has never played fantasy before and can't name a single player on 25+ teams, yet she is projected to destroy me

The person who won my league last year had their team auto drafted and never made any moves aside from moving players on byes.

Part of the reason why I stopped playing FF.

She likely just took the top-ranked player according to the very site that you're using to predict scores...

Plus, you draft **** teams... :P

Any of yinz do survivor pools? My wife runs one where you get a second chance--I actually like it, it makes it last longer and is still usually over by Week 12. I've been using SurvivorGrid a lot, and really trying to focus on future value without getting too cute. Picked Houston in Week 1, and really liking Detroit in Week 2.

I've been thinking Detroit this week too. I also went with Houston last week.

I didn't want to get too cute this week after KC put a scare in to me. Just went Carolina. With them in the NFC West and they play a 1st place schedule, not a ton of spots where you could be this comfortable taking them I'd image.

ugh, I'm kind of porked in my defense-situation in two of my leagues. I picked a D in the second to last round and was left with the Rams in both, and they did **** last week against a turdy Niners team.

I picked up the Ravens in both leagues now and am considering going the "play whoever the Browns play" route

Agree.

Also, it's virtually impossible to be "porked in [a] defense situation", even more so after the conclusion of week 1...

In my ppr league i have amari cooper antonio and robinson. I dont think ill ever be beaten at wr. Its really fortunate too that the draft unfolded that way, since i didnt know it was ppr.

Benched Tyrod last night for JoElite Flacco. I guess that's what I get for emerging from my draft with Tyrod Taylor as my QB1 in the first place.

alright, I got a little desperate in one of my leagues and made a trade

I'm getting BRoeth, Foster and Rawls and giving up Bortles, Hyde and E Sanders (.25 PPR)

BRoeth for Bortles is a clear upgrade from my perspective, considering I also have A Rob (I don't want to put too many eggs in the Jags basket and the Steelers offense is a lot more consistent). I have an undeniable boner for Rawls and given equal health, I think Rawls for Hyde is a wash. if Rawls is healthy then CMike will be long forgotten like he was last year. Then Foster for Sanders, which is a big risk for me considering how much I am afraid of Foster, but it's difficult to trust Sanders since the Broncos are clearly run first with Siemian

idk like I said I got nervous and felt the need to make a trade.

Who gets nervous after week 1...the trade seems fine though...

I thought you had a couple teams which had Broncos WRs on it...I was surprised by that, even given your allegiance...I never considered drafting a single Bronco WR in any format...

2nd week of the season and I am already benching Todd Gurley. Kicking myself for drafting him at #3. Johnson was the much safer pick considering they actually have a high-powered offense. Dumb dumb dumb.

@mikey - do you like a speculative Quan Bray add in a deep league?
