WTF is wrong with people. Guy offers me Stefan Diggs and Fleener for Gronk and Matt Jones... Is this real life? That's like saying "Hey I just got these guys off waivers, want them for a potential game breaker?"

Depending on other parts of my team that trade isn't real terrible. The person should be offering a running back in addition to the 2 pieces imo, but Diggs is real.

I don't think Minn throws nearly enough for that to be a good move. I like Diggs but not for Gronk. Diggs IMO is right about 4th round value (12 team PPR) and Gronk even sitting out these games is minimum 2nd round value.

No offense but you also beat the Mike Evans isn't good drum. Diggs is good the team doesn't throw enough to make it consistent.

None taken, as I make a good bit of money playing fantasy sports by making calls like that...so, obviously, no one can hit every single one of them...I take no exception to the exception...

That said, Diggs has been pretty consistent since coming into the league. In his 17 career games, only 4 times did he not catch at least 3 balls. His seven 6+ reception games since 2015 ranks pretty well for someone deemed waiver wire quality. He's not Antonio Brown certainly, but the team just lost its stud RB, Laquon Treadwell is a little slow getting going, this smells a lot like the Jarvis Landry situation in Miami - target monster. The only thing I will say is that Minnesota doesn't have to "chase" as many games as Miami does...so what you get through 3 quarters with him, is probably what you end up with...but in any format that doesn't heavily lean on TDs and 50+ yard plays, he's a startable player...

I had Diggs on my team last year. I know all about him. He had ~4 games where he was worth starting. Based on the team he's on he leans more towards the good football player average fantasy asset side of things. Evidenced by your 3 catch stat and as you said the solid D where they don't have to throw.

He's an add-on in a deal for a player like Gronk not the center piece.

I nearly played stills as a bye replacement. Despite that td reception, not playing him was the right move, yes?

With news of Gordon going to rehab, I snatched up Terrelle Pryor quickly. Thoughts on a flex play this week? Pick one:

Charles Sims vs. DEN
Tyrell Williams vs. NO
Latavius Murray (leaning hard no) @ BAL
Terrelle Pryor @WAS

I am really tempted to go with Terrelle Pryor. He's looked really good, has had a bunch of wildcat opportunities, and is the clear #1 receiver. Washington's secondary is bad.

For flex, 1 point PPR

Edelman
C. Beasley
C.A. Payne
M. Jones

LOL I'm the only 1 out of 91 entries that picked the Lions in survivor. Am I missing something? I get they aren't near contenders but I can't see the Bears keeping up with their offense.

Division game on the road between unpredictable, **** teams...if you have a feeling on it, then go for it...but the reason why people are staying away from it is because all the stuff to the left of this randomly-detached dependent clause...

I've bet against the Browns all season and will continue to do so until they win or play inside the division for the 2nd time.

Yeah I know the division game on the road rule, etc, but *IF* I win this week it'll be the furthest I've ever made it so rules be damned. I actually think me posting about how bad the Bears are is more dangerous than an NFL team playing a road division game.

Man I don't know if I want to move Gronk. Could potentially get Jordy and Fleener right now, or D. Murray/CJ Anderson and Fleener for him.

Fleener is garbage.

I would probably hold on to Gronk. Because if a top-10 WR (so far) like Diggs is considered waiver quality in your league, it sounds like there is a premium on TDs...rested/angry Brady is going to need an end zone target until Mitchell comes along...Fleener couldn't catch malaria if he licked every public toilet in Costa Rica and those other two RBs are of average quality in my eyes...

Whoa whoa whoa Diggs is top 10? I'll go $10 he doesn't finish as a top 10 WR. ESPN standard scoring.

Aside from that yeah I don't think Fleener is particularly good but I 'd rather him than say Tamme from the wire. I do appreciate the insight so as I said before don't take too much offense on Diggs.

I might just roll out Brady, Edelman, and Gronk. I just don't like having so much locked up in one team.

Diggs is the 9th highest scoring WR to date in my main league right now (well, when I looked on Wednesday).

I take no offense.

If you lock up into a diesel offense, you're set. I drafted nothing but Colts throughout the Manning years in Indianapolis and won tons of leagues. Manning, Harrison, Wayne, Stokley, James/Addai/Rhodes, Clark, Vanderjagt/Vinatieri...and I would just play them and they would score 38 points a game and I would get them all, score a couple of decent mid-round guys and rack up the wins...are the Patriots a good enough offense for that? Probably not because of their running situation and lack of a second WR (even Edelman doesn't have good natural hands from a talent standpoint)...but you can do worse than those three...

Yeah Manning's Colt's were something to behold. The good thing for me is we're a 1pt. PPR league so Edelman catching ~7 balls a game is nice. Gronk gets the red-zone, Edelman gets the safety valve. Shoot I rode Brady/Gronk to the championship before. I'll just eat it in week 9.

I have always - by default I guess early on - tried to concentrate my bye weeks. I'd rather take one definite loss than have a slightly wounded team every single week for 8 straight weeks or whatever it is...just give me the one, and I have confidence that I'll dominate the rest...
