Jean Tarrou (Gaucho) was a millenial who'd been battling the Virus since day one. Unfortunately his luck ran out today, and he died while intubated after FINALLY going to the hospital.

Bluhawn had grown suspicious of Marie Curall, and administered the Covid test. The town was shocked, SHOCKED to learn that she was from Generation-Z and that almost all of the infections could be traced back to her.

She'd been to the store, and bar every damn day. Marie Curall (lol) was Patient-Zero.
With all of the bad eggs in Generation-Z accounted for and quarantined, Bluhawn Texabameux had flattened the curve, and can look towards a healthy future.

Post-game, night actions and number mechanisms will follow shortly.

Begins with 10 Total Provisions. shopping provides 6. The hospital provides 2 beds for patient intubation, but if things get overwhelming, the Doctor and Nurse may issue a Lockdown for extra supplies.

Day 3- Town votes to test Shafnutz
Gaucho wins his Virus roll, and is on downturn
MR25 dies at home after losing his roll.

Night 4- obhave infects dodint, dodint infects Mac at the bar. Obhave infects meow at the store.

Day 4- Gaucho goes to the hospital. Town votes to test obhave. Death rolls for gaucho, willeyeam, and cbear. Gaucho dies, Cbear lives, will lives

You got the Covid
1-contagious and asymptomatic
2-sniffles
3-fever - double TP loss for one day
4-Generational resistance drains (Chills, Aches, Shortness of breath)
4.5-Death/recovery roll

Players infected by a red start with the sniffles the next phase, infected by a blue begins at asymptomatic and contagious. Players advanced 1 step per phase, depending on Viral load, and must roll against death at stage 4.5.

Adding up generation, comorbidities, TP when infected and whether they went to the hospital determined the dead stats in the randomizer, and how many a player needed to be slotted above to survive. For example, Gaucho had to be no lower than slot 2 the phase after his fever:

So he survived at home. The virus could only be cured at the hospital or through the Nurse's quarantine, so Gaucho felt better, then went back downhill and succumbed to his worse odds on Day 4.

Authortony on the other hand, went to the hospital as soon as he discovered he had a fever, and only had to not be in the bottom 2 slots the night he was intubated.

The confusion was understandable.

Infection:
If a player was chosen by obhave and left home, they were infected. If they weren't chosen, they had to run against the infection roll. 1dummy stat added for each player in the store or bar. the proximity to reds determined the infection.(1 per location max). Here's what it looked like when meow was infected at the store yesterday:

MR25 decided not to shop the first two opportunities, and was on negative TP when he went. I hadn't anticipated that, and decided he should clear an extra slot in proximity to stay healthy. he didn't, and he didn't survive his roll after the fever either.

The bar:
Kane was supposed to be giving out fake news every day to confuse the populace, but died night one. If two or more blues visited the bar, the closest in generation would learn about each other. dodint did this twice.
With Mac:

Charles Campion and Shane Jackman met at the bar. They knew they'd seen each other before, and talking over many beers, finally came to the conclusion that they were next door neighbors. Charles was a Boomer, who lives at #105, and Shane was in Generation-X, living at #103.

They had a good time, but Shane could tell that Charles didn't seem very healthy, and Charles noticed that Shane was malnourished. Like any Boomer would, he suggested that Shane eat something.

And earlier with c2i:

Charles Campion and Crentist L'Dentist have met at the bar! They hit it off over some drinks. after all, they have a lot in common. They are both Boomers, and live on the same street. Charles address is #105, and Crentist is #111.

There was also a younger man there, who didn't mention his name, but seemed very nice. Maybe you could find him on Faucibook?

The other person was willeyeam, and obhave was present for an infection role every day.

the game I envisioned had infected players panicking because the hospital was full, and they would have to wait for a player to be cured at home. The addresses were a mechanism for players to share TP, and I daydreamed about a supply chain forming among neighbors to keep each other alive. Never once did anyone attempt this. The hospital never filled, and the outbreak never really got out of hand because 3 reds lasted 4 days.
