Horror Movie Warz III - Game Thread

redwill almost single handedly decimated the villains. He'd have killed Juice too but Juice had one free death.

If dodint had infected 3 dead as zombies, they'd have come back into the game. They would have had the option to follow him, or eat him.

I wish NAN hadn't been killed so early. I was looking forward to his drunken clues.

rel/shad were lovers. If either had been killed during a day phase, the other would have killed someone who voted for their partner before committing suicide.

This was my first game with a role blocker. It was fun how it played out.

I didn't want to reanimate a red or else I would have probably picked a third before being killed. Bummed for you that that mechanism didn't play out.

I was curious about dodints abilities when he came back as having a fetish for zombies

That's two games in a row. Dude's on fire!

Still glad I voted for him for sheriff, even if he was an indie...

 Apparently you weren't the only one. @MWB

Not my best game. The three players I assumed were blues that got my hint - you, redwill and Om - all turned out to be RP's. :face:

Awesome game thanks man!

Slappy with mvp for somehow picking out two reds and blocking them as well as dodint. Probably saved me? Also you lucky pos blocking silentom when redwill didn't have a kill apparently
You had this right the first time, I was MVP thank you

I just figured the way you two were going at it, it was better to kill you and eliminate any confusion.

It was stupid of me to hand you folks all the reds.

In the end, there was no one left to kill willeyeam. Hahaha.

I won't make that mistake again.

Thanks for the game, Tony and everyone! It was tons of fun.

This was probably one of the better games in recent memory. Lots of participation kept it interesting.

I nearly gave my fourth mask to willeyeam instead of you. Seriously, I was teetering on the brink. But you had made some post like "redwill isn't helping us" which led me to think maybe you were some kind of seer.

Oh, well.

You were a trooper posting all the craziness. Honestly, it's guys like you who make these games work.

FYI, MR25 had to ask someone for drugs each night. If they obliged, he had to act odd in various ways. He took that ball and ran with it!

Yeah, first day way "Post often and nonsensically".

I used Phish lyrics because I'm uncreative, was listening to them at the time, and couldn't think of anything more nonsensical than lyrics taken out of context.

This is not a criticism. The way my PM was worded I thought there was some outside trigger for bringing my zombies back. If I had known I was the trigger I would've worked a little faster. I kept waiting for NAN or shaf to pop back in but it never happened. I even tried to nominate myself but should've gotten the clue when I was told that wouldn't work.

Just explaining the slow play. Had I picked instead of passing on that last night I think the game would've ended much differently. At worst people would've had to spend time deciding whether to try and take us down or not. I don't think the four (or three) of us would've been inherent threats but I can't speak for what the other three would've done.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. I realized that after your post-game comments. I'd wanted you to have 3 zombies in hand before they could be resurrected, that way the 3 of them could decide (behind your back) whether to follow you or eat you). I'll do better in Horror Movie Warz IV. ;)

This game was a great read. I was able to keep up as the game went on, even if I was dead very early. Great twists. And a variant on the swine flu unrealized.

@AuthorTony I hope you have a chance in the near future to do a complete write-up of the roles/actions/etc.

There are still a few saves, blocks, and twists I don't get.

If not, that's OK.

I don't have a list of actions handy. I could scroll back through PMs but I'm lazy so...

Slappy could roleblock every night. If he blocked on villain, they couldn't kill that night. There was one night where he blocked a villain and the angle protected the villain's target, thus the double save.

The angel couldn't protect himself on consecutive nights. I think he only had that one save that actually mattered.

The vig only tried to kill that one time.

If I missed anything, just let me know. :)
