You think league superstars put out in camp? At the level they're doing in actual competition? Hmm.

At least they don't have to travel much.

Oh absolutely not. But the schedule is heavier in camp. More time on the ice. More time in the gym. More time taking fitness tests.

Same argument applies. I don't think what they are doing now is more... physically strenuous...than what would occur in camp.

What are they normally doing? Jousting?

I just don't see playing one high talent game every other day to have a higher injury potential than the end of summer weightlifting/very start of training camp.

The Murray injury may be magnifying it for Pens fans, but overall I don't think it is a problem.
