I'm getting ready to build a chicken coop for my mom, and I'm curious about a vapor barrier. The coop is basically a 4x8 shed. The base will be sitting on concrete deck blocks, so adding in the 2x6 framing and it's going to be about 12 inches off of the ground. I'm not putting in any type of pad or ...

We had a set at my grandparents' place, and we always played them at family picnics. No one died or lost an eye either.

Gonna be humorous to watch her endorse pissbaby after all of the talk from her about him being unfit to be president, etc. It's definitely coming. She will bend the knee. I'm sure she knows she can't win. I think she's playing the odds that Trump will somehow be disqualified and she'll get the nomi...

Its just unfortunate that forgiveness goes to those who aren't paying anyway. What does that actually solve other than to clean up the balance sheet. There should be some incentive for.. I dunno actually paying them. This makes it sound like forgiveness is only for those who have been paying. Borro...

Nixon's war on drugs was created to criminalize black people. It is almost single-handedly responsible for the US's problem with mass incarceration and has done an excellent job of perpetuating poverty and racism. As Ehrlichan said: “The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, ...

Yeah that's silly. I didn't think Foster was particularly good, though. She didn't have a ton to work with but I never bought her as that character, especially during the shouty bits. Agreed, and I love Jodie Foster. Maybe this was too far outside her wheelhouse or something. There was a moment in ...

I was waiting in line at the bank the other day and some folks ahead of me were talking about Trump and how he's going to destroy Biden and fix the country, etc. One woman joined in and said that Trump should have bowed out and endorsed DeSantis or Haley last year. The main MAGA guy went off on her,...

Yeah, reusing the "time is a flat circle" made me groan out loud. So, so corny. Thinking about it more last night, I probably dislike it more. Some of the plot holes are just inexcusable. Tsalal has several vehicles (Danvers and Navarro take one after the storm passes) so why didn't they sit in a ve...

I finished Night Country up tonight. It wasn't terrible. I agree that it was "fine." With a few more rounds of rewriting it could have been pretty good as the bones of the story were solid enough, but it definitely felt clunky. Even in the finale episode, when Danvers and Navarro are chasing the guy...

Very hard not to shed a few tears watching that ceremony. I know Craig Patrick was pretty loathed by the end of his tenure, but he really did love Pittsburgh and love that team, and you could see the emotion all over his face today. It probably wouldn't have gone well, but I still hate that the Pens...

Lara Trump, lip filler addict and wife of the dumber Trump sibling, is now co-chair of the RNC. Sounds about right.
Oh neat. She already had pledged to funnel all their money to Trump. The dumpster fire burns hotter.
Hopefully this hurts the GOP in House and Senate races.

I don't watch much Prime. Usually just as background noise on the weekends. I did watch a couple episodes of Bosch last week. There were ads at the beginning and then an ad break around the end of the second act - maybe 4 min long. If they handle it like Freevee (not sure if I got that right), it wi...

I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that Poltergeist and Gremlins were basically the "reason" for why PG 13 became a thing.

Up until then a movie was PG if it didn't contain excessive profanity and gore.
