Also, the idea that "I paid off my loans, so it'd be a slap in the face if they just forgave debt" is incredibly selfish and dumb. Just because you went through that pain doesn't mean that others should do the same or they are somehow lesser than you. The cycle needs broken somewhere. I'm not again...

The person who owes $50K because they didn't want to share a dorm room and who now makes $250K a year doesn't need loan forgiveness. I know this is not a typical case but it's silly to want to forgive all this debt.
