I’m currently sitting on my patio waiting for the goldfinches to return. One of the ones I’ve seen on my feeder today is the brightest yellow I have ever seen on a bird, and I’d love to get a photo of it. Also had a beautiful red fox stroll through our yard this morning, and wish I had anything on m...

Yeah, it's like 80 grams for the base. They charge us $.066 per gram. 1:20 on the lid and 3:40 for base. As the makerspace is setup for often derelict students, I have to be in the room monitoring it for most of the time unless I can pull the faculty card with the makerspace director. 6 hours...

If the cost is something stupid, let me know and I'll just print it out for you and send it to you, if you'd like. The cost of the filament for this print is pennies.Nice! Thanks! I might go plug this into the software to see print time and try to get an approximate cost.

That's what I was referring to. Some clown on Fox News was outing at least one of the jurors.

Pretty sure jury tampering is a felony.Apparently one of the selected jurors asked to be dismissed out of fear that people will find out she's on the jury and come after her. Can't say I blame her, but at the same time, that's disgusting that it's come to this.

I inevitably see these trucks driving a single person to the grocery store, where they can't effectively maneuver them in the parking lot. It really might be one of the stupidest things Americans do on a large scale. And always driven by some 5 foot nothing midget that needs a seat booster to see o...

Okay, DG, this is done. The blue piece in the one picture is a representative of a deck of cards and how'd they'd sit inside. Link to the STL files (I separated the base and lid), as well as the 3MF file in case you wanted to open the project I saved in your slicer: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1...

OK, the cards are 5.5 x 8.6 cm. The entire deck doesn't need to fit in the flipper, and the older version of the game has card storage depth of 2.5 cm or so. It needs to fit maybe 20-25 cards? You're also going to need to get used to measuring everything in mm. :) Got it, let me verify the sizing i...

If I were in the market for a pickup, I doubt I'd look further than a Tacoma. Great styling, and they've not massive boats.

Listening to our town hall, and they announced new changes to the return to office initiative. Currently, those who are assigned to an office are there 50% of the time. Basically, 3 days one week, 2 the next, etc. It is now 3-days per week, with Tuesday and Wednesday being mandatory in-office. Can'...

Very cool - as long as it works for the recent Taboo cards, converting it would be great. The OG version of the game comes with a flipper, but the new versions do not. And the new cards don't fit in the old flipper. Can you measure a few things for me? The actual card dimensions, and the entire sta...

FWIW, one of the great features in onshape is that everything you create is public. So if you don't care about somebody copying your design, then it'll work nicely for you. Searching the public repository, I found this: https://i.imgur.com/11MTmJz.jpeg I can export that to an STL for you if you'd li...

I'd have to agree. He looked pretty comfortable with Sid.I'm a yes here. He's looked like he belongs, and it's probably not a coincidence Sid got red hot when DOC bumped up to his line imo. I guess I'd say if Sid approves, he's on his wing

1235713 AutoFusion 360 for design Eww. I love onshape.com, FWIW. 1235713 AutoFusion 360 for design and the other workshop on using the Ultimaker Cura software. Double eww - OrcaSlicer FTW.
