Pens are apparently having a hard time selling season ticket packages

Ensuring that I have the same view/seats and priority in the playoffs is a huge benefit to me, one that I’d pay a little extra for.
Yeah, assured playoff tickets is why I still have season tickets. I’ve not been able to sell at face value only one or two games in the last few years.

Pens. Flyers. Game 6.

Not that it matters but Furlatt and Sutherland...Amell and Shewchyk will work the lines...
Peel and MacCauley have been terrible. Not just in Game 2 with us but in other series. I just don’t like the flow of the games they call.

Do we know our game officials yet? I haven't been able to find it.

Eh, I get the viewpoint of "this is too much"...but he's clearly the best goalie in the history of a franchise that's 50 years old and also one of the most favoritest and likable members of a Pittsburgh sports team ever...there could be a 30-minute documentary on his sleeping habits narrated by Dan...

I once had a student who heard I was a hockey fan, so she asked me if I'd heard of Bobby Carpenter. When I said that I had, she told me that she went out on a date with him. I didn't ask for details. I was in a bar in Burlington, VT, watching game 5 ECF vs Tampa 2016. Struck up a conversation with ...

Skalde was not brought back by Guelph (OHL) as their head coach...he had Luca Caputi on his staff as an assistant I believe... The great Penguins draft of 2007: Angelo Esposito, Casey Pierro-Zabotel, and Luca Caputi. The only guy that really worked out in that draft, Jake Mussin, never was signed b...

There were the same amount of trophies this year. GM out, Rocket in.

I was hoping Sid would win the Hart and Lindsey so I could see those too.
He's gotten lazy in his old age.
I would have accepted the World Cup trophy and MVP trophy as alternates, though.

Madden has been dogging Kessel since mid-playoffs, with no proof that the coaching staff or management shares his opinion, yet stating it as proof. I belief it's all crap. Kessel is no more of a coach's enigma than Geno. Yeah, Geno digs a bit deeper and plays a more 200 foot game, but you know what ...

We didn't get the locker room tour last year. We got there before doors opened and it took us overall less than 45 minutes combined waiting for doors to open and to get the picture with the Cup. Couldn't make it out this year, but sounds like the locker room and Suite 66 added to the wait time. Yep...

Which is why I said perception. I can't remember who Craig Adams kept out of the lineup with his nightly sweater, but if it were Bobby Farnham it's hard to say Dan was wrong for that.

Has our scouting department evolved in order to land all these NCAA free agents that we've gotten over the past few years, or are we just a more desirable destination than a few years back? Maybe it's just my perception, but it seems like there's a lot more undrafted talent now than we've been able ...

I went early on Saturday, getting there about 30 minutes before the door opened. Although the line stretched down Centre and around the corner on Washington Pl, it moved quickly once the doors opened. We were done in just over an hour. The 40% at Pens Gear was nice, got myself a Sprong Jersey. Reall...

9 d-men scored 50 or more points last year. He's paid market value which if we look at the contracts handed out so far is just fine. We can't expect every player to take a discount just because. I was wrong about 2 things in this ED. I was wrong that the Pens would go 7+3 instead of 8, and I was wrong about the Pens "needing" to sweeten the pot with Vegas taking Fleury. I still do not understand why they felt the need to do it, but they obviously did. Maybe Rutherford threw that in there f...
