Making It Interesting (Sports Betting Thread)

I’m not sure which side of this argument is right, but that seems like a cherry picked year. Was +180 before the season, when Jordan was just coming back, Orlando had just beaten Chicago (with Jordan) in the previous season playoffs, and many considered the shaq and penny led magic to be the next gr...

What is Kentucky doing? They had three timeouts and didn’t call one and they take another awful shot. That’s just bad coaching.

I don’t know a whole lot about betting yet, but that seems like good value. A lot of nba regular season trends are tough to trust because of how little the teams value the regular season.

My wife and I were looking for something different the other day and started Cheers from the beginning. Man, that show started out in stride. Most times you revisit (or for my wife start) older sitcoms like that it takes a while for everything to click, but Cheers was funny from the start while sti...

Awful list. Brownies are top 10 if not top 5. Good key lime pie absolutely slaps
This, so awful. A good key lime pie is hard to beat and brownies can also be made in so many different variations that are all good.

I’m generally pro-salary cap but that said, it seems like payroll and wins/winning the World Series don’t really correlate so it’s not really that large of a concern imo also, Snell is an interesting player just because he represents what starting pitching is these days. He won the Cy Young going 1...

I generally really enjoy he Tony Kornheiser Show podcast but his insistence on spending this week every year on getting people’s NCAA bracket picks is crazy-making. To me it’s like hearing about someone’s dreams or fantasy teams
Agree… but I like the Greg Garcia one.

Culver’s is fine… certainly no worse than any other crappy fast food, and they have cheese curds which are a change of pace.

21 TDs, 21 interceptions last year. Would have taken him on the Steelers yesterday to figure it out. Career 22 and 22. First starting year in a garbage franchise. Arm looks good, has some legs, f*ck that guy. You cut and run on a guy like KP who’s been bad for a couple years, is made of glass, and ...

Creating an unnecessary law that led to confusion and had to then be settled, wasting money, is certainly a loss on a lot of levels.

I’ve been using an offshore book since 2012. It’ll be nice to get more betting options
DraftKings and FanDuel both offering +100 that the hornets score one point tonight to get people in. Max is $50 bet. I don’t really bet and that won’t change much, but I’ll take the free money.

I’ve been watching Dinner Time Live with David Chang on Netflix lately. It’s a fun show. He brings on a couple guests and cooks for them while they all just talk about different stuff around whatever is being made. My favorite episode was with Bert Kreischer and Bill Simmons.

I really like seared tuna steaks, especially for on salads or noodles. Still raw in the middle and you get the the crust on the outside. Best of both worlds.
Yeah, this is how I feel. I like the little crisp on the outside and the raw in the middle. Adds another flavor.
