The best I hope for from Graves, is that he has a Paul Martin esque rebound and plays to *some* value of his contract.

So big games coming up against Tampa/Toronto. Does Ned play both and Jarry gets Detroit?

Pens legit playing like a good team. Ned is out of control right now, Bunting looks like a perfect fit.
All that’s left is for DK to write another Penguins Dubas hit piece.

People were calling for Saros even before that series IIRC.We didn't get a shot for over 37 minutes (!) in game 1 and then Guentzel came down and snipped him from mid-range...what a rusty skate boot to the testicles that must have been for them...

I don't think Ned gets a starter share anywhere, tbh. I think if you tell him it's closer to a 50/50 split, which I think he's earned, he's good with that, I'd have to imagine.

I'm fine with that too. I don't know if I've ever got the sense that Sullivan has liked Jarry like he liked Murray, who he'd trot out repeatedly, no matter what.
My scenario is only consider moving him if there's a team willing to spend on value. I'm not saying the Pens should dump his ass for free.

I'm not mad at Jarry for being inconsistent at all? My premise is that Jarry is wasted here, if this team isn't a playoff caliber team, and there may be value elsewhere in return to move him?
I only mentioned Samsonov, because Dubas seems to stick to guys he likes, no bearing past that.

I wouldn't even hold out for a top forward. If and only IF a team came in and offered a good offensive prospect and a higher pick, I'd be tempted. Penguins could have outs. Again not saying I'd immediately turn around and trade Jarry. This'd only be if Jarry nets any real value in return. Re-sign Ne...

Maybe? Maybe not? If there’s an offer out there that helps the future Dubas speaks of, it might be worth it to consider.
Ned doesn’t immediately have to take 50 starts to replace Jarry. If a team comes knocking, I’d have to figure they’d listen.

Nah I am not saying, ship him out because he's a bum (even though the 22nd in the league comment was made). I'm saying probably the opposite here. I think they can ride with Ned plus depending on how they want to build the team in the future. I think he's more valuable to a true contender than he is...

Jarry makes a lot of money figuratively speaking to be top 10 in starts and 22nd in the league in wins. I don't necessarily believe he's been all he's projected to be, but that ain't all on him, either.
I'm fine with the Blomqvist route mentioned above. I just hope they can keep Ned next year.

I don’t think the Penguins need Jarry’s contract to compete, and I think he’s a luxury if they’re going to get high picks.
Jarry might be expendable if you want to roll Ned as your tandem goalie with another guy making the same salary.
