Nothing would happen to TikTok that quickly, because the law would quickly be challenged in court, and I can guarantee that litigation (which I think the fedgov would likely lose in the end) would certainly stretch long past the election.

If it were a human-sized oat muffin, I imagine that if the ball is thrown with sufficient force, it would just stick in the muffin, making catches easy. Whether that human-sized muffin could prevent strips/fumbles after the catch is another question entirely.

Gandini designed a wide variety of cars for companies including BMW, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Fiat, Lancia, Maserati, Renault, and WV, but he will likely be remembered most for his work for Lamborghini, for which he...

Should have just made both Red Bulls $1.
That would also have been an excellent idea.

https://www.msnbc.com/the-reidout/watch/biden-memory-issues-were-a-lie-interview-transcripts-with-former-special-counsel-robert-hur-show-206400069681 I note that Joy Reid in that video did say that Biden raised the issue of his son's death himself, but she omits that Biden mentioned it in response ...

So turns out Biden was never asked about when his son’s death was and it was made up that he couldn’t remember. Biden brought it up himself and couldn't remember the year before being reminded. https://twitter.com/CortesSteve/status/1767537111715004487 Biden also said, "Remember, in this timeframe,...

The folks at Japan's Space One had a Bad Day and did not go to space today with their maiden launch of the company's KAIROS launcher. The vehicle had an anomaly shortly after launch. Based on a brief press conference later on, it seems like the vehicle, which uses an autonomous flight termination sy...

Yes... people suing the government to fight against the law settled to allow the law to be exactly what the law was to begin with. I'm sure that's the true story here. They got an official clarification that the law doesn't ban or prohibit things that the law never banned or prohibited. The plainti...

All the settlement does is say that the law doesn't ban something it never banned to begin with. It's not a loss for the Florida government.

re: Community notes. Joe Biden says that he would sign a bill to ban TikTok. Some guy on X says that if China or North Korea did that, people would be calling it fascism. Community Notes correctly says that China and North Korea both censor and restrict the internet (in China's case, mostly, in NK's...

I want to say there are now condensing tankless that don't need to be vented, but I'm not sure how well those work in comparison to the regular ones. I decided the last time I needed a water heater that it wasn't worth it to go tankless. I live alone, so running out of hot water is rarely if ever an...

As the dictator in charge, I was thinking of imposing a "you can't pick anyone from Red Bull" restriction for this season, but I decided not to. I'm now thinking that I really should have done that.

I think the tone of the SOTU was exactly what it should have been. This is not a normal election year.
He sounded like an old man who was angry and yelling because his children just took his car keys and told him that it's time to give up driving.

It wouldn't be Boeing's responsibility. That 777-200ER left the factory over 20 years ago, and the way the airline industry works is that airlines and not manufacturers are responsible for maintenance and repairs. That car is on United.

Anyone wanting to buy a politician would have to get in line behind big oil, big pharma, and Boeing, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and every other member of the military-industrial complex. That's a horse the left the barn decades ago.
