Drafting UFAs would be bad for business. Why would any decent UFA want to sign with an expansion team? Let's be realistic - that really wouldn't happen unless it was like the player's home town or something.

I think miller is a great stop gap option for an expansion team. Experienced vet with a good resume. Draft and develop some goaltending talent, and it should be ready by the time miller is set to hang em up.
