Ticketmaster To Require Negative COVID-19 Test Or Vaccination To Attend Concerts https://www.billboard.com/articles/business/touring/9481166/ticketmaster-vaccine-check-concerts-plan/ How long does a test take to verify? Could be quite a long line trying to get in. I'm sure they can't use test resul...

Absolutely. This isn't an overnight fix. It's gonna take time. I think this is true for the overall pandemic. I think people need to realize that this is going to take time. It's not "hey the first batch of vaccines have gone out in X month and then it's "hey the pandemic is over!". It's going to t...

Wonder if the vaccine will be required for immigration. IMO it should be. Just not sure how it will be proved. Or we could, ya know, provide one for them... Yep, that would work. As long as it is mandatory for entry. Also might take a couple years to get enough vaccines available to use at the bord...

Android auto/apple car play navigation via Google maps or Waze is way better than any car brand navigation IMO.
That’s great for newer cars, but...
I like a Garmin device in my oldies. Gets me to my car cruises and back home every time.

Cars & Bikes, Driving & Riding

Just bought the wife a new TLX. There are too many bells and whistles for me. I guess I’m getting old. I can relate to that. I like driving my 60's cars. Very few bells and whistles to remember, All I got is a light switch, wiper switch, radio on off knob and a cigarette lighter. Sometimes the heat...

The places I go to here in little Warshington which are Target, Lowes, Giant Eagle, Home Depot and Shop and Save are pretty much 100% masks. I would say about 10 to 15% don't wear them correctly. I also go to a wellness center/gym (3 times a week) and a bowling place (twice a week) where masks are 1...

We had around 75 treaters. Last year was a little over 100. Still pretty good enjoyable evening. At least something to do.

Thanks guys for the WFH info. good stuff. Can you imagine this Covid stuff happening back when we had dial-up networking? WFH would definitely not have worked. It was hard enough to get one computer to go to a few websites. I had to get two phone lines back then. One for the house phone and one for ...

So explain it to me. If WFH is working well for some, why would a company require employees to return to an office? WFH seems to be much safer, cheaper and desirable to me. I could never have done WFH but I sure would of if I could have.

Back when I did trick and treat (50's and 60's) a full size candy bar was all there was and they were huge. My favorites were the Bun Bar and the Sky Bar. Gimme one of those or I am soaping your windows.

Read this in my local paper today. If accurate not sure why this high number of people don't want to help fight Covid. "Disturbingly, though, 67% of people contacted by contact tracers in Pennsylvania earlier this month would not respond to queries about where they have been or what kind of gatherin...

Speaking of flu shots, I checked and have gotten one 23 years in a row. This year I also got the pneumonia shot. Also got the shingles shot a few years ago. So far no bad issues. Usually a slight arm soreness for a day or two.

I am definitely noticing more people wearing the mask pulled below their nose. Also seeing more of those clear face shields being worn, especially by store employees. I'm sure wearing a mask all day would be tough. Might be a long winter if the vaccine isn't approved soon.

Not directing this at anyone specifically, because we want to avoid getting panties in a bunch and feeling getting hurt...
