How libertarian of you. From the libertarian party platform: Members of private organizations retain their rights to set whatever standards of association they deem appropriate, and individuals are free to respond with ostracism, boycotts, and other free market solutions. This is a private board, a...

If she hates America so much, she should go back to where she came from.

Oh, wait. She's white. That means she's American.

Nevermind.

Yeah, Blade Runner is definitely top-5 all-time for me. "... tears in rain..." Woof. And a big +1 for the Vangelis score.

I also liked the line when he was talking to Chew: "If only you could see what I've seen with your eyes." I'll tell myself he wrote that, too.

RIP.

Not all. Tennis, for instance, is simply a different offering and not necessarily a “less than” - even though the ability levels aren’t comparable. Women play a more interesting game, IMO, which earns them a seat at the table. But generally, yes. Soccer and basketball most famously. These teams pla...

People don’t watch women’s sports for the same reasons they don’t watch minor league sports. You have X amount of minutes to devote to your liesure. You can fill some of it with this 4 year novelty, but there’s no room in your regular life for it. The purpose of pro men’s sports is revenue generati...

I think this should be looked at in the larger picture of the women's reaction to the legitimate complaints about disparities in countries' support for the men's vs. women's teams. Certainly Rapinoe's complaints with regard to the timing of the match are almost entirely without merit, but it does co...

With all the rain we've had over the past few months, we got a lot of toads. Toads everywhere. A veritable plague of them.

I think it may be a sign that I need to free my Hebrew slaves.

If [Laura Ingraham] didn't have double standards, she'd have no standards at all.
I'm sure that's a common comment on the interwebs, but I hadn't seen it before. I literally laughed out loud.

I have no problems with negotiations either. But EVERYONE knows he is being played. Probably even him. Which possibly makes him less of a fool than I think.

Unfortunately, if true, that makes him worse than a fool.

I'm not a fan of Donald Trump, but I'm not fanatical about it. I don't hate him. I'm more of the opinion that "Trump is gonna Trump. Agree or disagree. Laugh at him and mock him more often than not just because of his buffoonery. But only really judge what his administration does or does not do." Bu...

My 2011 Toyota RAV4's odometer just hit the average distance between the Earth and the Moon. 239,000 miles.

I've never named a vehicle before, but I'm thinking of calling this one "Apollo 13," since there is only a very slim chance of it making the return journey.

But I suppose it's possible ...

Jesus, what is this, 1970? You don't need her to gestate and birth the child. You just need her genes.
As a man of science, I can almost definitively say that it is not 1970.

However, since we're talking about selectively breeding humans, it may as well be 1930.
