Last missed penalty by a German player (men): Uli Stielike, 1982. I remember it well.

This is headed towards one of two options: GER PK in the 84th min or GER win on PKs AET. This is the same German World Cup Movie, men or women.

His contract is 27-34 years old right? I can live with it. Not to dig where it hurts, but this feels like Pitt fan logic, where success is merely just the next coach away. :pop: I mean, I would rather it was his 23-30 age, but 27-34 is pretty good. 3 or so years of relatively prime production with ...

I certainly agree that they someone else who can put the puck in the net (and I'd take a flier on Semin), but committing to Kessel and all of those years feels very sketchy. I have three cons and one pro. Cons: streakiness (which all one-dimensional players are), term of deal, and assests given up....

it's easy to point to lack of offense when you look at the playoff goal totals, but the biggest underlying problem was the defenses inability to get the forward the puck at the proper time and in the proper space. There was one puck mover in the playoffs and Martin couldn't play 60 minutes. Everyon...

Seemed pretty clear they needed another guy who could create offense on his own without relying on 87/71, no? The rest of the complimentary players on the wings are guys who are more direct in their approach and largely one dimensional.

Weird that the women's 1 and 2 teams in the world are meeting in the semi-finals after winning their own groups. Would think that they'd have them on opposite sides of the bracket. The Women's World Cup is a good example of FIFA FIFA'ing, because they did things like have France/Germany on a collis...

I don't think the government wants pologomy because the country will run out of men after they realize women are nuts and kill themselves if they are with two of them.
